Review of my purchase
I have not used the butane torch yet. But the instructions are clear, the butane torch came quickly and was boxed well. I liked the idea of two butane fuel canisters that came with it.

Great for Creme Brûlée
This torch worked as advertised. It is easy to use and I like that it has a safety switch to prevent accidental use.

Works like a champ.
Great product, exactly what I needed to finish creme brulee. Looking forward to use it to sear a sous vide protein.

Crème brûlée
We've used this several times to make Crème brûlée. It has worked great. We've been using sugar from Mauritius that we got on our honeymoon. It is more granular and colored more similarly to brown sugar. Here is link to the type of sugar we have been using.https://www.amazon.com/Demerara-Unrefined-Mauritius-Pancakes-Caramelised/dp/B0CHYRM3Z1

Pyro food fun
Love! I bought crème brûlée from the freezer section in Target and needed a torch. The oven on high broil WAS NOT IT; a melty soupy mess. This torch is fast. Perfect glassy, sugary top for my favorite dessert. It was so much fun. Filling the torch was easy, weird and fast. A little goes a long way. We had S’mores and it turned out great! I also use on crock pot Mac & Cheese; it provides the Yum look & burnt taste you crave. Everyone thinks I’m magic.
