Great value, real bright for this off gridder , (updated 7 Nov 24)
I live off grid in the middle of 40 acres of woods. I use a headlamp pretty much every day 365. I bought this one because it had decent reviews. It cost 17$. It replaced an older lamp I had that still works but just wasn't very bright. This thing shoots a very bright beam about 120 feet and floods the immediate area with light that lets you see what is around you and avoid running into things. I had to go check my game cams after dark a few nights ago. I took this light and got on my tractor. (a 30 horse stiener 25 years old). Going through the woods, this unit was brighter than my tractor headlights. I figured that for 17$ I would give it a try. I'm glad I did, it's a great little unit. The only thing I might add is that I'm not sure just how good the rechargable battery is. It seems to get noticeably dimmer after about a weeks worth of use (maybe 2 hours of light). Again, I paid 17$ for it, how much can you ask from a light that cost that much. I'll update after I have it 6 months or so. (Update) April 1, 2019) This little sucker continues to be my go to light off grid. I've used it every night over the long dark winter and it's so small and bright that I use it when I just need a flashlight. It has operated flawlessly for a $17 light and I'm getting ready to get another one so I have a spare if something does go wrong with it. It's VERY bright, it's cheap, oh, and the battery has held a charge very well also. Highly recommend. Update Nov 2019- This little light is still going strong, I have to go out after dark most every night and this is the light I grab to light the way. After using it for a year now, I'm still as happy with it as I was the day it arrived. It's very bright, it holds a charge well (one charge lasts about 3 weeks of 10 minutes per day use) and it was very inexpensive. I hope they d0n't change it. Update Aug 2020- STILL going strong. I've used this light EVERY NIGHT for a year and a half now and I'm actually back to order another one so I have it on standby if something happens to the original. (Update Feb 2022) Still can't kill the original unit I bought 3 years ago and I use it every night! I bought a backup a year and a half ago and have not had to break it out yet since the original is still going. Best purchase I ever made off of amazon. I really hope they dont change anything about this light. At this price, it's unbeatable... Update Feb 23- Well, it finally happened, after about 5 years of pretty much nightly use off grid, it's just getting a little dimmer than I'd like. Looks like the battery might be gettin a little weak. You'll see above where I bought a replacement as backup a year or two ago, unfortunately, I left that on the dash of my sons truck last week and it's 500 miles north of me now so I'm back to order another... Great light, great value! Update Jun 24- I've been updating this light for 6 years now... This little light is one of those rare finds on Amazon. It's reasonably priced, it performs VERY well, AND THEY HAVEN'T SCREWED IT UP BY TRYING TO BUILD IT CHEAPER, EVEN THROUGH ALL THE COVID MESS!! What ever company is building this little light, congratulations on doing it right and not wrecking it with cheaper parts to save money! Update 7 Nov 24- Ok, I have an admission to make, I watched a headlight review on "Project Farm" (YT) and I went and ordered the $29.00 Z Moon headlight that he said was better than this one. In my humble opinion, as a 7 year off gridder, this light is better than the Z Moon light. The Z moon has an almost laser like beam that while it has a bright beam, there is next to no flood effect to light the immediate area you are walking through. So you can see fine 30 feet ahead of you but you cant see anything (or terrain changes!) 5 feet in front of you. THIS LIGHT has both a great flood effect for your immediate surroundings plus a very effective spot light that really lights up 100 feet ahead if you need that. All without having to readjust the light for different beams. Having said that, though I haven't gone through a battery in the z moon yet, I would say the battery in that light is going to last several times as long per charge as the one in this light since it's so much bigger and heavier. For my purposes, I'll leave the z moon on the shelf and grab this one when I'm heading outside in the dark.

BRIGHT Bulky light. Did I say bright?
Got a few of these. They may be pretty bulky but these suckers are bright. Like shine across an entire lake at night bright. Definitely pretty big and bulky. Holds up well used em for gator hunting, spotting squid to jig, finding those pretty white eyes of shrimp. Buy this sucker and you won’t regret it

Great headlamp for spotting and searching
Great headlamp for hunting! Stays in my center console and stays charged forever it seems. A more pronounced power button would be great for gloved hands but, for the price you can’t beat it.

Durable, convenient, bright and long battery life between charges
I love it. I have a brighter headlamp but it's got a cord and a big bulky battery pack. This light is lighter and there's no cord or battery pack to get in the way. The battery lasts a very long time on a single charge. I've used it for 2 weeks straight going and coming from my deer stand on a single charge and it was still bright when I decided to charge the battery. Its definitely worth the money and lasts a long time. I highly recommend this light for any kind of hunter, fisher, mechanic, lineman and anybody that works in dark places such as attics or crawl spaces. Very comfortable and durable

Very tight hot spot
The beam is small but it throws a very long ways... way further than I would've thought...
