I bought paint from home depot to match my tile. can i mix latex paint with this product?

can this be used on chips on the edge of a granite counter top?

Hello, Yes. If you have the chip, simply mix and apply epoxy to stone and clamp or tape the chip in place firmly until epoxy is dry, then razor off the dried excess. If you do not have the missing piece, you can "create" it using the epoxy. It may take a little practice. You will need to first tint the epoxy with our EZ Tint (sold separately) as close to the stone color as possible. Then, depending on the size of the missing piece, you may need to add un-sanded grout to give the filler more body to ensure that is does not sag. Shape into place and allow to dry. If your first attempt is not as satisfactory as you would like, allow it to dry-to-touch, then dig it out and repeat until you are satisfied with your results. If you razor the surface of the finished piece, the surface will be more of a matte finish. You can apply something like a dab of acrylic polyurethane on the surface with a small artist's brush to restore gloss finish. If you leave the surface undisturbed, it will naturally dry to more of a glossy finish. Thanks for your question, Epox-Sci

Will this work for a quarter size chunk missing from my granite fireplace hearth?

Yes it will, you may have to apply twice due to size of chunk missing but it will work

Can it be mixed with stone dust for colorant?
