Cricut Maker 3

I had use of a Cricut maker at a craft shop I work from and ressurected it for t shirt printing use. I was then incredibly lucky to get a cricut joy from eBay for 30 gbp!! Bargain. But then I wanted a big, original cricut so treated myself to this absolute beast. It is expensive but I did get it on a -40% offer and it comes with a healthy selection of vinyls, weeding tool and transfer tape. I just can't fault this. I've made a few t shirts now. The software has a learning curve but is fairly easy. No regrets on this purchase.

I bought this product to use for my small business. I have zero prior knowledge of cutting machines and figured this would be one of the better affordable options. I receive this fairly fast. I first made wedding invitations using the pen writing feature for a friend to test it out. It took me 4 hours to get this thing to outline 3 invitations because it wouldn't work properly ( I had it directly plugged into my laptop). So I automatically assumed it was broke because it was loading the paper, registering for a second, and freezing. My husband thought it was ridiculous to spend the money I did on this thing so I wasn't about to give up.... long story short. It was my laptops USB connector that is messed up and it wouldn't connect properly. I found this out when I connected it via Bluetooth and I have yet to have another issue. ATM I have had it for 3 weeks and have printed over 200 mini vinyl clothing labels and its worked great. I will warn you after several vinyl prints I noticed the upper right corner from inches 8 to 12 tend to not cut through as well, but overall it is a great product, quick to learn, and easy to use once you know what your doing. Would highly recommend.

I LOVE it! What an amazing piece of kit! I was so nervous buying it (will I use it, is it worth the money) and I am thrilled I have!! I have made loads of cards, felt flowers, designed my own projects and got totally absorbed by it. The downside is You do need to have a lot of the cutters and these can be expensive to purchase as they don’t come with it. Even though it accepts smart materials mats are also very handy! Everyone who comes to boat ends up wanting to use it and we now have one at work. Super easy to use, very quick cutting and lots of accessories for fun projects! Love it!!

It’s brilliant and a great upgrade on the previous model. Brilliant for all types of vinyl and software and cricut support is brilliant.

Really good, great potential for a variety of multi-craft ideas. I expect & hope Design Space is regularly improved always, enabling more & constantly improved capabilities. Prices should be cheaper for all & designs should continue to be creatively helpful as standard. Endless amounts of creatively good possibilities. The calibration feature for the Maker 3, on Design Space profile, using the correct Mac/Windows Laptop, for a correct, supplied (fine cut) cutting blade(s) needs improvement fast and substantially better Customer Service support and availability with in the UK as purchased is needed. For the price (November 2022) I’d expect & highly appreciate a better ‘ good eco-system’, for use with the many included features, promoted & advertised; like ‘Smart Vinyl’ , Design Space & All Necessary Monthly Subscription Charges . There Is Always Room For Improvement, I expect it to get even better, I expect to learn lots more, all goodness. I expect all sorts of good features packed with many abilities & uses. I am interested is making multitudes of good uses, of all available. 9/10. I’ll update in a few months, So far So Good, Thanks To Cricut. This is a large cricut machine and needs quite a bit of space to use, do bear that in mind. Other than that it's a brilliant piece of equipment. I have managed to use it on multiple types of vinyl so far. No problem at all. I did spend a couple of weeks reading information, watching YouTube clips and joined some Facebook groups. I would suggest doing so before you buy just to make sure it's what your looking for. As smaller cheaper versions are available. Software not compatible with Chromebook but I use on my tablet, with no problems at all and have had others day they use their phones too. Although that would be fiddly if doing small details. There doesn't seem to be a free hand draw option in the design space. So need to use another app or pp rogram and the upload to designspace. Easily done after watching a how to clip.

Very expensive but worth every penny, easy to use

La mejor inversión que he podido hacer sin duda! Llevaba tiempo buscando una máquina de corte tipo plotter, y entre las diferentes marcas, por estética, calidad y precio, cricut ha sido la elegida. Me decidí por la Cricut maker 3 en vez de la 4 porque evidentemente es más económica, y además la compré en oferta. La única diferencia que hay entre la 3 y la 4 es la velocidad de trabajo, pero aún asi entre toda la gama Cricut, la maker 3 es de las más rápidas, solo por detrás de la 4. Si con la 3 tardo 1 min con la 4 quizás son 40segundos. En mi caso como es para uso particular esa diferencia de tiempo no me afecta, por lo tanto preferí ahorrar un poco. Si me preguntan porque la gama Maker y no las demás, la respuesta es por la cantidad de opciones que ofrece y rapidez, mi pensamiento es que ya que invierto que pueda "hacerlo todo". Todas las Cricuts vienen con recortes de prueba para que puedas testearla, pero este pack además te incluye unos extras: - 1 rollo de transfer, aunque es del tamaño de la Joy (tendrían que poner el de tamaño normal que no vale tanto). - 1 vinyl permanente en azul con cambio de color activado por frio - 1 vinyl permanente en rosa con cambio de color activado con calor - 1 paquete de Iron-on en tonos neutros - 1 smart Iron-on plateado - 1 smart label - 1 herramienta de "pelado" Además de los accesorios de este pack de inicio, te viene (como en todas las maker 3) la cuchilla de punta fina premium + la carcasa. Con esta cuchilla ya de entrada puedes hacer muchísimos proyectos, esta pensada para hacer cortes finos y de grosor medio como por ejemplo: -VINILOS: Vinilo permanente Vinilo removible Vinilo Smart Vinilo holográfico, glitter, estampado. (Perfecto para pegatinas, decoración y rotulación.) -VINILO TERMIADHESIVI (IRON-ON): Iron-On normal Glitter Foil Holográfico Smart Iron-On (Para camisetas, tote bags, neceseres, sudaderas, etc.) -PAPEL Y CARTULINA: Papel normal Cartulina ligera y media Cartulina metalizada Papel adhesivo (Tarjetas, etiquetas, toppers, scrapbooking. -MATERIALES ESPECIALES Acetato Papel vegetal Cartón fino Imitación de cuero fino Foam fino La maker 3 está pensada para cortar teóricamente mas de 300 tipos de materiales, de hecho a parte de la cuchilla incluida hay 12 más, lo malo de esto es el precio ya no solo de las cuchillas, sino de todos los accesorios en general. Yo recomiendo que si es para uso personal y aun no has usado ninguna máquina de este tipo, es no comprar a lo loco. Primero hay que aprender un mínimo y con lo que incluye el pack y con un par de accesorios más como las "Herramientas basicas" y los tapetes de corte para los materiales que no son Smart( que de hecho te vienen materiales que no son smart en el paquete) con estas dos cosas ya puedes hacer virguerias y sobretodo aprender...luego ya pues ir comprando según necesidades. En cuanto a la instalación es MUY fácil, de hecho es solo ir siguiendo los pasos que te va diciendo, simplemente tienes que descargar el programa de esta Design Space y seguir pasos. Todo es muy intuitivo, incluso cuando te pones a hacer algún proyecto la máquina y el programa te van diciendo qué hacer. Lo "difícil" es tener la creatividad para los proyectos y encontrar los trucos adecuados. En resumen, si eres amante de las manualidades y el scrapbooking y buscas una máquina plotter para ir más allá, la Maker 3 es IDEAL. Los únicos CONTRAS que le veo son: - Precio elevado de los materiales y accesorios, aunque en la mayoría la calidad respecto a marcas "blancas" lo merece. - Si quieres acceder a todos los diseños y funciones del programa Design Space, tienes que suscribirte (son unos 10 euros al mes) aunque tienes un mes de prueba. En definitiva, la SUPER RECOMIENDO

Regalato a mia figlia non l’ho mai vista così contenta. Si può fare di tutto alla perfezione e con grande soddisfazione. Lavoretti poco impegnativi o oggetti elaborati risultano tutti perfetti. Acquistatela tranquillamente, sono soldi spesi bene.

It arrived in just 2 weeks at a good price compared to local stores😍 Advice for anyone looking to buy a Cricut for a small business is to get this machine from the start, the creativity is truly limitless 😍 I got the Joy Extra 4 months ago, it's great too but it doesn't compare to the maker 3.
