Excellent connected watch, infinite solar battery
It’s a beautiful mechanical watch, with nice outdoor features like compass and barometer… AND it gives notifications from apps on smart phone and allows reading short messages. I’ve owned since January (before it was released in US, got it imported through nice web site), and have yet to need to charge it even once. Charges via solar even indoors. Low power Bluetooth uses very little power. Night glow on the dials is excellent. Motion tracker does well on steps. This will never be obsolescent, even if Bluetooth ceases to be a thing, because it’s a Swiss outdoors watch first and foremost, and doesn’t need a phone to be of value. Display is very readable in sunlight or in darkness. In a meeting I can just glance at watch when I get a notification, and keep going. Though I guess someone might interpret that as me checking the time multiple times.Downsides: no Heart rate monitor because laser would use too much power. I don’t need it. Some people would consider the lack of fancy apps to be downside, but I previously owned a galaxy watch and never wanted to use an app on the watch. Any app I could conceive of made million times always more sense on the phone than on watch.

An excellent quality timepiece.
This is an excellent swiss semi-smart timepiece that fits between and full Apple smartwatch and a standard watch. It connects to your smartphone to provide some basic smartwatch features which is what I wanted. You can recieve notifications, track steps, and other basic smartphone operations..and it looks darn good. The Tissot App works as designed and compliments the "smart" part of the watch. I have been using this as my daily watch and use my Apple watch only at night to track sleep functions. The reason for the 4 stars is because of the band. It comes with a synthetic band that I feel does not match the quality of the watch. Also the lugs are 23mm which is a very hard size watch band to find if you want to upgrade the band. Even Tissot has only two bands you can buy for this watch and neither one is a braclet style band.

Wish I could use it.
This review is more about Amazon than the watch. It arrived without the wireless charger. The Amazon rep stated it doesn't come with a charger because it's a solar watch. Not accurate. Amazon was of no real help. I had to reach out to Tissot and try to get a charger. Tissot also confirmed that it should have come with a charger. It also didn't come in a Tissot box. It was just wrapped in plastic and stuffed into a plain cardboard box. The watch looks nice but as of yet I can't use it.

Connectivity is terrible
Watch looks great as expected but need much more work needed on connectivity side. Keeps getting disconnected with phone even within a foot range. Utter disappointment from Tissot and after paying this much.

Attractive Watch - Time Synchronization is Inaccurate
Very attractive watch, with high quality finish and materials. As with some other smart watch brands, the mediocre phone apps are the Achilles heel. The watch is always off by about 1.5 seconds after synchronization by the app, compared to the phone's own time (and the actual time as verified on the NIST website). The inferior app is the issue here, and Tissot haven't bothered to fix the problem even though the watch has been out for a couple of years now.

No warranty card present in the box.
There was no warranty card in the box.Box was dirty from oily fingers on the outside.

Don't do it.
Nice looking, but useless. Charger was missing and Tissot customer support never responded to me multiple times. My Garmin Fenix is light years past this.

Expected a better screen
The watch is... well, first and foremost, it's a watch. That job, it does just fine. The "smart" features... Not so much.1. The pedometer ticks away happily when driving on dirt roads. I drove about 8 miles and it thinks I walked 5000 steps. If only fitness were that easy...2. The companion app is as basic as they get. It's unfortunate that it won't run without location permissions, though. Actually, it will RUN, but won't connect to the watch without location permissions enabled.3. The lumes (that's the phosphorous component) don't last long. Even after "charging" from a bright source, the phosphor on the hour and minute hands barely emits any light after about two hours. The rest, is faded within 30 minutes.4. As mentioned in the title, the LCD screen is terrible. ABSOLUTELY NOTHING like the sharpness and brightness shown in the marketing photos. Also, the backlight goes turns off after only a couple of seconds.Still debating whether it's a time piece I want to keep in my watch rotation.
