California Costumes Men's Viking Helmet

Perfect. Apparently this company reads reviews because the horns came stuffed with foam and stick out nicely. The cap is not wrinkled. It is a bit large and I have a large head but not so large that it would fall off. Better large than too small! My 3 year old grandson is delighted. He'll be dressed as Toothless. He wants me to walk with him as a Viking.

My son is obsessed with How to Train Your Dragon, so when he asked for a Viking helmet, I had to get this one. It was a huge hit! The second he opened it, he put it on and immediately started running around the house with his toy dragons and foam sword pretending to be a Viking. It’s lightweight, comfortable enough for kids to wear during playtime, and has held up well through lots of imaginative adventures. It looks great for dress-up without being heavy or uncomfortable. If you have a little How to Train Your Dragon fan or any child who loves pretend play, this is a fun, affordable accessory that will get a lot of use. My son absolutely loves it! ⚔️🐉🛡️

It was cheap so it works, but I didn't realize the whole thing would be soft plastic. You sweat so much in it. The high stars are only for the low price.

This helmet looks great, but is flexible plastic. I had to use a blow dryer to heat it up to get it into a wearable shape, as it is shipped kind of crumpled up. I stuffed the horns with plastic grocery bags to get them to hold their shape.

I'm the guy in the middle in the picture I shared. I had to cut one of the horns in half to make it work for my Halloween costume, which was sad to do. But, it's also part of why I chose this helmet in particular because I read that it was made of a sort of mushy material. This is true. It's not hard and it's not so soft that it looks fake. It suited my needs just fine. It stayed on my head great when I didn't add the wig, but once I added the wig it was falling off constantly. I don't think this is a fault with the helmet though. Just something to note if you're considering this for your Halloween costume too. I ended up taping it to my head/wig, which helped somewhat.

Super flimsy like a beanie that does not fit, they fold it like paper to ship so the horns don’t stand up. I returned this item but the company never issued the refund.

This is a nice helmet and from a distance looks authentic and works for a costume

We had read in a helpful review that this helmet is somewhat large and we needed it for an adult with a large head so we knew that it would be perfect and it is. We had also read that the horns were bent, and they were, but the attached card said to use a hairdryer to fix that. We did and then stuffed the horns with poly fill to keep them stiff without adding weight. The helmet is made of a rubbery substance, so it looks like metal without being heavy, and it fits nicely. We're very pleased with this helmet.

Bought as a novelty for my dad that was in the hospital. It was an amazing success as everyone wanted to try it on and have their picture taken. Very good quality and soft to put on

I was disappointed by the product. I thought it would be a hard helmet. It was material, folded and soft and needs to be stretched and adjusted to your head. I thought it was going to be different. Not worth this price. I could've gone to a local cheap shop to get a cheap imitation such as this. I thought I was paying for a better quality product.

A decent prop for a party but the ad doesn’t indicate that it’s made of soft rubber, there’s some scientific words used to describe the material which led me to believe it was a hard plastic since the photo of the item shows it like it it’s a solid piece, other than that it will suit the purpose
