I purchased the JML Pill-O-Pad Tablet Stand (fold-away version) as a gift for my elderly mum, who spends hours reading on her Kindle, and it’s been a great buy. This is my second one. The first one started making cracking noise when trying to close; it then became hard to open…… now this one is doing exactly the same after only 5 months. It is a great idea and very useful. Holds iPad easily. Not sure it’s worth the money though if it lasts less than a year. Would probably be fine if you didn’t close it often.

I’ll admit, when I first saw an advert for the “Pill-O-Pad”, I wasn’t exactly thinking “I must get one of those”. My initial reaction was that it looks a bit clumsy and I don’t need anything to put my iPad on anyway, my knees do a good enough job. However, after reading a few reviews where people were raving about them, I decided to take a chance and I bought one. From the first minute of using it I was so glad I had one. Everything involved in using an iPad was suddenly so much better. I was amazed! The Pillo-O-Pad just kind of hugs the iPad, without actually hugging it, and protects it without getting in the way. Changing the angle at which to view your iPad is simplicity itself, you just push it to angle you want and it stays put. Amazing. I love it and would recommend it without hesitation.
