I purchased the JML Pill-O-Pad Tablet Stand (fold-away version) as a gift for my elderly mum, who spends hours reading on her Kindle, and it’s been a great buy. I was never convinced of these when seeing them on TV or online but after an operation I needed something softer to rest my table on when laying down, this was perfect. It is nicely padded and keeps in place. When resting on my torso which had stitches it was confortable and distributed the weight of my devices over a larger area. The inside storage is prettyuseless as it doesn't have much height to store anything useful, but this will hold up my iPad and 13 inch Macbook Pro with ease. Another plus was that I found gripping this while using my ipad with one hand gave my muscles less fatigue despite being a slightly heavier weight.

Love it got it to replace a previous one that would not shut after a couple of years of use great for reading in bed or on the couch even better it was half price

It works perfectly for a while, but then gets very stiff to tilt, or completely goes the other way and doesn’t stay where you want it. This is the second one of these I have purchased and found exactly the same thing second time around. With my first one I thought it was because it was getting old, but no, this one is just over a year old and the same thing has happened again, but quicker this time. There just won’t be a third one!

Arrived next day. Is very light and ideal for using in bed, with legs up on settee.or on lap on chair
