Was little tricky to set it up on my mastercraft router table, but once connected, works really well. Way less dust in my workshop.

It is the nature of a router table that chips will fly everywhere without a good vacuum dust collection system and most tables have a fence mounted connection for a shop-vacuum hose. What most tables lack is a means of preventing chips from falling directly into the router motor. This system meets that need, and does it effectively and inexpensively. I have used this system for several years on my big cabinet mounted router table and recently added another to my smaller bench top router table. The heart of the system is a flexible cup with a hose attachment port. This fits around the router shaft with the collet inside the cup. It captures most of the material that might otherwise fall into the fan blades that cool most router motors. This cup attaches to the router plate or reducing ring by means of Velcro rings with an i.d. of 2-1/2", big enough to clear most router bits. 'MilesCraft' provides three such rings so you can mount one to each reducing ring when matching opening to bit size. For larger bits like panel raisers be prepared to restrain the cup so that it does not lift up into the underside of the bit. Intelligently placed Velcro tipped straps would serve. (User supplied).The rest of the system consists of a "T" fitting with a port for a typical shop vacuum hose, two lengths of 1-1/2" hose, and fittings for the flexible cup and the fence port. Assembly is simple, but the hoses must be threaded into the fittings against the direction suggested by the spiral of the hose.

Todo está muy bien y en realidad se lleva más del 90 por ciento del polvo, Yo lo puse en mi mesa de router y antes tenía un cuarto aparte especial para usar la mesa de router por todo el polvo que genera ahora con este accesorio prácticamente es irrelevante dónde use el router en verdad se lleva el polvo, claro que necesitas una aspiradora de potencia regular y buena capacidad porque se llena rápido ya que si...recibe "todo el polvo"

This is a good device but not great. The velcro method of securing the cup is very strong - but the glue backing to the velcro is terrible so you'll need to use a contact adhesive or similar to get it to stick (I ended up with hot-melt glue as it still refused to stay put). The problem is the weight of the tube and connector invariably pulls the suction cup (suspended under the table) away. There is a stay and a couple of screws included but it still doesn't work It also recommends attaching the velcro to the router table insert, which obviously doesn't work as you change the inserts over and the glue is insufficient...I mounted mine onto the router base in an inverted router table and this is a better solution as it will rarely need to be disturbed. Also the adapters for the tubes didn't fit my table accessories so, yes, it works remarkably well in reducing the amount of dust in the air but you need to re-imagine it when fitting to your particular circumstances (hence only four stars).

Fits perfectly to my Rutlands router table/lift/motor combination. Works as advertised.
