Generic resettable breaker, title/images could be a bit clearer about the suitable AC/DC voltages
That’s all there really is to this, it arrived well enough packaged in a small clear pouch with the required hardware (hex nut & written label/washer) to panel mount the unit into your project. I gave it a quick check with a power draw just over the quoted rating of 10 amps and it eventually popped without issue and broke the connection. After a little while, a quick tap of the button brought the connection back up and the power was flowing fine again. The delay doesn’t concern me in the least and it will pop long before appropriately rated cables would heat up enough to pose any kind of threat.Other than the lack of more specific images and written details in the product listing that directly contradict the information on the side of the product, this is a good product that does what it’s supposed to. There are odd sections of non-English in the product description, and the DC voltage listed doesn't entirely match the stamped rating on the product itself in those untranslated bits. The mixed languages and poor translation in the product description isn’t the greatest for someone looking for a quick and accurate break-down of the specs. You can piece enough information together if you’re willing to look a bit further into the full-length description, images, and reviews, but things could be clearer. For example, in the first couple lines of the description images what can ‘Silver Dot Through The Foot’ even possibly mean? The listing also mentions it being a toggle-switch which isn’t accurate at all, this product cannot be manually triggered and you’d need another separate toggle switch to manually interrupt power. All this unit does is break the connection when the current flowing through it exceeds a certain amount for long enough, then it can be pressed to reset the connection back to normal, nothing else. The asking price of £7.02 feels fair considering this isn’t a name brand product, the price is also the lowest I can find for a resettable overcurrent protection of this rating on Amazon at the moment. For reference, I received and tested the 10 Amp version, which has a printed rating of 10 amps at 125/250V AC and 50V DC on the side. I ran my tests with a 12V car battery so I can’t really comment on how well it runs on full UK mains voltages.

Nice little overload trip button.
A simple overload safety trip SPST cut out. Rated at 10A (250V AC/50V DC). I found it would pop open at 11.5A after maybe 5 minutes of this slight overload. No doubt if the over current was greater still it would trip much sooner. That is the normal time characteristic for this type of safety circuit breakers. The breaker is push button reset type and is clearly intended for single hole panel mounting into an 11mm diameter hole. Very little force is needed to press the reset button after it has tripped. The body is 35mm x 14.5mm by 43mm (front to back inc the twin Lucar style spade connectors).Could have many applications in car/boat/or general equipment builds such as battery chargers etc etc. Please note that this device is purely an overload cut out and not a switch. You cannot manually turn off the circuit as you can with standard house consumer unit MCB breakers. There is no Test or Off button. The only way to turn these off is by actually overloading them. Nothing wrong with this but worth mentioning.
