No It Does Not Include A Dimmer , And I Believe It Will Not Be A Good Idea To Dim These Lights . What Will Be The Best Thing To Do Is Get A Separate Lightning With Nightime Bulbs , And Put Your Lighting System On Timers So You Will Have Day And Night Time Settings .

The light will work in a 10 gallon tank, but don't keep a turtle in a 10 gallon tank - even a hatchling will grow out of it in a month or two. You need ten gallons of water for every inch of shell.

“Yes” this combo pack does come with a Turtle Tuff 50 watt Halogen bulb. It also has a small metal hanger on top of the unit itself (instead of a big clip like some of them have) which makes the unit look a lot more desirable on top of your tank. There is a stand that you can purchase separately to hang the light just above your tank, which can save your light bulb from going out (they don’t like moving when they are hot) when you are moving the light to open your tank - it’s a great product.
