It can indeed. Very easy to trim down.

Yes, you can, but actually depending on how you are using the product, it may not be cost effective. If the spares you need are just the magnetic strips, it is worth looking at the price for those separately (sounds daft but Staples office supplies have these) as for the price of the screens, I can't help as we often have more screen than attachments!

How long is the plastic trip and the black tape long

We only used half the mesh and we have enough strip and tape for the other half, but you do only get 4 corner pieces. The supplied tape and strip is enough for the size of the mesh supplied.
