Really Nice Fine Point Emulsion Pen
I have liked and used Zebra pens for many years. I have wished for a fine point, Zebra emulsion pen and this is it. Shipped from Japan, but arrived earlier than promised. Worked first time — no scribbling around to get the ink started. Writes smoothly. I like it!

Nice pen for the price
Good pen, doesn't put out too much ink. Consistent and durable. If you don't want to pay a lot for a pen but want one to use for awhile and use refills, this would be a safe bet. I have two. Better than most you will find in store. No smudging either.

Best Pen Ever
One of the best writing pens ever. Hard to find.

Works well; .5 is a little thin
I have alternated for years between cheapie pens and better pens. This one has worked well. But the .5 tip is narrow for general purpose use, will go for the .7 next time.

Pen stopped writing after about a week
I love the feel of this pen. Its got a nice, sturdy body and at first, the pen was great. After about a week of moderate use, the pen stopped writing. The ink inside was still full, but the pen would not write. I was sad because the pen had the potential to be great, but now its unusable

Seller was more than prompt on delivery ,as for the pen...
The pen is nice looking ,long and feels good in hand . As an artist I love how sensitive the regular Zebra ink in the 301 .402 and all that take that type of refill is. That ink with a 0.7 ball can draw a very fine line using a light touch . If you hold the point so that it's riding more horizontally than vertical where the edge of the ball seats , you can feel out or ghost up your image as well as shade better. The emulsion ink used in the Surari with a 0.5 is less sensitive and blobs a lot and the pen wants to be held more vertical than normal when used. The ink may be darker than the regular series but I'll choose the pen that does what I want and not one with a will of it's own .I should also mention that while Zebra ballpoints are not rated archival ,in a 3 month test I made of black , blue . green and red Zebra regular ballpoint ink only the red showed some fade after north westerly sun light. Against a Bic multi pen ...Bic black fades to brown , blue doesn't seem to fade but darkens to deep navy , green held up , red faded more than Zebra .I also hate all gel pens as they are wetter but not as sensitive as any ballpoint claiming smooth ink Zebra's tactical pen is also good for delicate drawing but only fills with black ink..it has a pressurized body making it a rival and more sensitive to the Space pens.
