Very easy - it's a keeper!
I have a confederate rose that grows from the ground to 15' tall each year. If you don't cut it back, it doesn't look good, and the limbs become more numerous. I hadn't cut it back in 2 years, as hand clippers would no longer work. This chainsaw worked great! I used short bursts, usually under 15 seconds. It took about an hour to cut and move the limbs to get at the new limbs, because there were over 30 of them. But if I hadn't had to stop and move things, I could have done this in 15-20 minutes easily. I have a picture here of the largest cut, and it was about 4 inches. I highly recommend that you keep your thumb off of the safety trigger while not using. It's so light and easy to use, it would be very easy to accidentally turn this on and cut yourself. Also, wear safety glasses. I didn't need ear plugs. The motor held up and one battery was enough to do all of that. I used it for about an hour. Towards the end, I started running it in longer bursts, e.g., over 30 seconds, and on the last cut it turned off and would not restart. I was at a stopping place anyway, so I took a shower, and afterwards it turned on again, so it wasn't the battery, it was a motor overheat. Overall, I think that's excellent performance and was pleasantly surprised it hadn't overheated earlier. I did buy some chainsaw oil (https://amzn.to/3Tsiiuk) and a drop bottle (https://amzn.to/3LrXscq), and put a little on the chain before and after use. When you're finished, I recommend taking the battery out and removing the cover to clean the sprocket underneath - debris gets wound around it and you'd never know if you didn't look. It's easy to do, plus you can tighten the chain if needed. I then added a little oil, ran it to lubricate the chain, removed the battery, and wiped it down before storing. The carrying case is great and has 2 inner pockets for storing the batteries, tools, charger, and instructions. Nice touch! I was looking at 6" models and was disappointed when I opened the box and discovered I'd accidentally ordered a 4" model. The extra 2 inches would have been nice, but this still does the job, and I'm keeping it. It's a huge relief to not have to ask someone with a chainsaw to come and do this for me, and I don't know anything about running gas powered equipment. So this was a great solution!

Handy gadget
I love the quality and ease of use. My pine tree loses branches after. This saw has no problem cutting off limbs then sawing up the branch.

Cuts good... for the price!
I cut about 3 pickup beds full of branches and shrubs ranging from .5" to 4" with this little saw and I have to say, it did a pretty good job! When it's all tuned up and lubed it runs and cuts great. The downside is that it takes some work to keep it tuned. Firstly, there is no oil feeder on the saw. You have to dump bar oil (not included) onto the chain every now and then. If you don't keep it lubed, it will overheat quickly and the thermal overloads will prevent operation for a bit. Secondly, the chain needs fairly to be tightened fairly often and the tightening mechanism leaves quite a bit to be desired. I found the screw starting to strip if I didn't fully remove the chain guard to allow for the screwdriver to fit into the hole better. The battery life has been really good so far! I have only had to recharge the batteries once. I wish the batteries had a charge indicator on them, though. You have to plug the battery into the wall in order to see the charge status. Overall, its a good little saw for the price as long as you keep your expectations in check. It is bare-bones in features, but if you just need a cheap saw for some light cutting, look no further!

My husband likes
I purchased this for him because we have a little wooden section on our property and sometimes we loose small limbs that he will drag to the burn pit and most of them are to small for him to drag the big chainsaw out and he really likes this little battery operated chainsaw, he says it works real well for that smaller stuff and easy to handle, it cuts well and has enough power for these small jobs and as long as you let it do the cutting instead of putting pressure on it to cut its great. I think it was a real good value for what I paid for it because it makes life easier for him and seeing he is older now I am much happier seeing him use this than the big chainsaw ( when not needed), swinging an ax or using a hand saw.

Fabulous!
I love this chainsaw! I am a 50+ year old woman. I use my chainsaw to do all sorts of jobs in the yard. I took down a 10 year old ornamental pear tree that was touch the cable lines - so 15-20 feet tall. The battery life in fabulous. I highly recommend.

I SAW what you did.
What can I say, this product is great. It is so tough and durable. It cuts through branches easily. It comes in handy when I had to trim a few branches that were pretty high up. Having a lightweight, powerful chainsaw really did the trick. The charge lasts a good amount of time.

This Versatile Little Gem Is Worth It
I live in a smaller house with little storage space, so there's no room for me to keep full sized tools, in exception to the basic tool kit, which does not include a mini chainsaw. I didn't realize how many things this gadget can do. It is more powerful than I thought it would be and works on thick tree branches too. I was able to cut off all the tree branches that were laying on top of my garage, so I won't have that extra weight on my garage this winter. I've even been able to use it for certain craft projects. Always wear protective glasses when using this item. It throws off small shreds of wood that can wreak havoc if it gets in the eye(s). I highly recommend this mini chainsaw for anyone who lives in a smaller house/condo/apt with little storage space. It really comes in handy and is worth its small price tag. Plus, it's cute.
