My Airpod Pro 2 case was stolen, and I couldn’t afford a replacement at that time. I needed my Airpods though so I purchased this case to keep my Airpods charged till I could afford the Apple Genuine part.I never paired this case to my phone or my pods. ONLY used it to charge them.So, fast forward to when I could finally go to the Apple Store and get my genuine case, and Apple refused to sell me the case. As it turns out, my phone was reporting the serial number being spoofed by this third party case, and that serial number has been replaced by Apple over 30 times and is now considered a fraudulent SN and blacklisted.This case (even though I did NOT pair it) overwrote the serial number in my phone’s settings of my stolen case. Apple can find NO trace of the original serial number (even though I had a warranty replacement a few months ago. Apple can’t even see that in the system anymore). Even stranger? My phone number was changed in the Apple Store’s system to something I had never heard of before.So now I am stuck with some terrifying data breaches, possibly compromised Airpods, and no ability to buy a genuine replacement case. Avoid these at ALL costs if you don’t want to risk the same happening to you.

My apple case stopped working completely so I got this as a replacement. It works great and charges the headphones effectively.

I've had this case for about 7 months, and it works so well that I decided to leave a review (I usually don't...). My original Apple case stopped working on one side and I wasn't sure if it was the case or the AirPod itself. I bought this case to troubleshoot, and figured out it wasn't the AirPods but the Apple case that was the problem. The Apple store can't fix it and it would cot $90 to get a new case. This case costs far less and works really well. It does everything a regular case would do. My phone/iPad even recognize the case and show how much it's charged (something I didn't expect buying off-brand). I'd highly recommend it as a replacement for a lost or broken Apple case.

It works fine case doesn’t hold a charge very good though literally goes dead within a day

Stop charging the right ear after less than a month. You are seeking a cheap alternative after losing your case. This is not it. You will only be frustrated when product fails. Please do not buy.Edit, found debris preventing charges on right ear piece. Still does not hold charge on case as well as Apple product. Upgraded my rating from 1 to 3 star.

I bought this product on March 6. By March 8 it wouldn’t charge. Apparently the plug-in ports are so poorly made they often break. I returned the product and they offered to send me a new one which I accepted. Hoping I just gotten one bad device. Well I’ve had the second one for about two months, now past the return point😡 and again the port has stopped working. There’s thing is useless if you can’t charge it obviously. Do not buy this product, very poorly made, and will become a useless piece of plastic within a couple of months.
