Kewpie Squeeze Tube Mayonnaise - 12 Oz, ivory

You haven’t had good mayo until you’ve had kewpie. We usually buy it from Costco but it is a different mayo formula. This one is the original flavor. Both are good, but we prefer this one. If you’ve ever tried recreating sauces (like a spicy mayo) that you get with sushi but can’t get them to taste right, it’s probably because you aren’t using this mayo.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Heard this was especially tasty; it def is. To actually say it’s better than the leading mayo like Hellmans…I wouldn’t say that necessarily. They’re both just as good. This one however does have a slightly vinegary tangy taste to it. Very good!

We have become a Kewpie family. We still use regular mayo but when we want it to be a bit more eggy and flavorful, we use Kewpie instead.It looks and has the same consistency of regular mayonnaise so it can mostly be subbed or when you need to.We've had no issues with consistency or color, a lot of reviews say they can't separated but I've never had that happen. A bit more expensive than regular mayonnaise but it's honestly worth it.

It arrived in perfect condition, thankfully. I know some folks had trouble with that. It was sealed well, no leakage or anything.The product is delicious & great quality. It’s a game-changer. It elevates so many different things because it has such a nice umami flavor. It’s creamy in texture, more so than your average mayonnaise. I will absolutely be buying this again.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I’d read so many glowing articles about Kewpie that I ordered it out of curiosity. It’s ok. Quality is good, but it’s too eggy for me. The quality is up there with Duke’s or Hellman’s; more a matter of personal taste. Have to say I’d buy this again over Duke’s. But never Hellman’s! 😊

Great for egg salad.

Sadly it was curdled and separated in the sealed bottle and I never got to try it. Very disappointing because I have had this brand before and it was the best.
