Great addition to my kitchen
After using the Neretva bread machine for a little over a month, I can say I love it and I recommend it. My only caution is that immediately after the baking finishes, if you want to turn off the warmer, you have to hold down the button rather than just pushing it. That button is rather warm, so I use a hot pad or a wash cloth. It doesn't burn your finger without using something, but it's not comfortable for me. Other than that minor thing, I love this little machine. It says it will bake 1.5 or 2 pound loaves, but I have successfully made 1 pound loaves in it. I set it for the 1.5 (750 gram) loaf size, and my 1 pound loaves come out great. I really like having the dual heating elements. I think that helps bake the bread evenly in the tall container. I got the silver stainless steel, and it looks great in my small kitchen sitting on the countertop. It's not huge, so it is a machine I can leave out, and it's not in my way. Many people think they won't have time to bake bread even in a machine, but this could not be further from the truth. It's much easier than you think. You just measure out your ingredients, put them in the loaf pan in the order recommended, set your settings, turn on the machine, and walk away. Three hours later you have a nice loaf of bread that slides out of the pan very easily. A great companion to this machine - or any machine - is the The No-Fuss Bread Machine Cookbook: Hands-Off Recipes for Perfect Homemade Bread by Michelle Anderson. Her book gives ingredient measurements for 1 pound, 1.5 pound, and 2 pound loaves. It really is a "No-Fuss" cookbook. It's well worth the price to get this book, as the Neretva manual is not very detailed. The one pound recipes in the No-Fuss cookbook are the ones I use in my Neretva. I highly recommend this machine! If something ever happens to it, I will buy another one to replace it immediately. I'll never be without a bread machine again!

I was skeptical, too!
But I just LOVE this thing! In my quest to get away from processed food as much as possible, I added bread to the list. The problem was I wanted fresh, homemade bread without all the work. This thing is every bit as easy as it says. I dump in the ingredients, push a couple of buttons, walk away and it does the rest. The manual isn't the best but it's easy enough to figure out. The included recipes aren't great but the internet has plenty to choose from. It's described as making a 1.5 lb loaf or a 2 lb loaf but, in most cases, I'd stick to the 1.5. You're going to run into issues with a 2 lb. By "issues" I mean it's going to actually Mount Vesuvius your machine enough to open the lid when it overflows. I love the styling and the color is beautiful. There are a ton of settings to choose from and seems to be very customizable. The best part is I know exactly what's in every loaf I make. C'mon, the price is reasonable enough to try it out, right? 😁 Edited to add: Does it make noise? Of course it does. Is it excessive? Not at all. It's certainly quieter and less annoying than my grumbling about having to make another loaf of bread by hand would be. I love the compact size. Space is at a premium in this kitchen so I was kind of worried about that. Turned out to be no problem at all! Update: 7 months later and still loving it. It's been so much fun trying new recipes and experimenting. I use it at least once a week and it's still working great. Absolutely no issues at all. 😊 Update: 1 year - I honestly still love it. I use the dough setting the most now and it's worth it just for that. Dump in the ingredients, do other things for a couple of hours and the dough is ready to shape and go in the oven or whatever we're doing with it. Homemade buns, English muffins, cinnamon rolls, pizza dough, the possibilities are endless with only 15 minutes or so of actual hands on time and consistent results every time. There seems to be some bread machine hate on the internet by "purists" but I think if something like this fits into people's busy schedules and allows them to make healthy, chemical-free breads (there's so many chemicals they have to add flavor to make it taste like bread 😟) for themselves and their families, that's a wonderful thing. It's the best, most impactful Amazon purchase I've ever made.

The best purchase ever.
I'm not a huge diet or watch what I eat type of person but the quality and prices of a loaf of bread today are alarming. They are super processed, loaded with artificial harmful ingredients and just don't taste good. So without any baking knowledge I took a risk with attempting to make my own. BEST DECISION EVER. I cannot recommend this machine enough if you even have a slight interest in making bread. When I say easy, it's still an understatement on how simple it is to make a fresh homemade loaf of bread with ingredients you can name and trust. Follow the directions and load the ingredients in the exact order and a few hours later you got some fresh tasty bread! I bought this maybe 6 weeks ago and I already went through over 12 pounds of bread flour and easily 12-15 loafs and each one better than the last. The machine is so easy clean, the bread slides right out and the bread comes out with a great denser texture not spongy like store bought. You have tons of preset options that are listed right on the lid and easy to set. I actually look forward to trying new breads or tweak the recipes to see which tastes better. It's a little loud but you'll get used to it, don't hesitate BUY THIS NOW.

Simple bread made easy
You have to understand I’m a male 58 years old always loved fresh bread and never made it for myself. Did the research didn’t go low didn’t go high went middle of the road. Just wanted a loaf of bread easy Peezy. This unit hands-down and I’ve made two Lowes is great. I would give it five stars. It’s a little noisy, not crazy loud but other than that it works flawless. By the way, it doesn’t move around like some people think. If you’re looking to just make a nice loaf of bread between my wife and I, this is hands-down one of the best bread makers I’ve owned and it’s my first I’ll let you know in a couple of months to see how it’s lasted. Instructions are easy. I just made my second quick bread recipe and it’s delicious. Looking forward to using other recipes.

Fresh bread
Was Ok my husband got me this bread maker after my daughter brought h9me freash homemade bread. I learned very quickly that after my first bread failed how to use the machine. First I had machine on incorrect settings so I unplugged the bread maker that was wrong. You use the start button and hold it for a few minutes it is in the instructions manual. I had it on settings 1 for white bread, I wanted quick bread. I also found out that the fruit or vegetable needs to not be super wet. I had used frozen zucchini well the bead did not cook. Found out from Facebook neretva group which flours to use and several great recipes. Next I am going to try to make yougert. I have made several breads quick, sourdough, cinnamon and pizza dough. Love this machine. For me it is easy to clean and very straight forward to use. Ok i almost forgot one more thing I learned. I made a bread over night and left it in the machine well the bottom of the bread slightly damp. So next time I used the delay setting. Loved waking up to freash cinnamon bread. Not sure how long the machine will last but I am loving it.

Small loaf yielded 9 good slices including end pieces
Ok… I researched bread makers and read reviews for a few days. I kept going back to this one due to reviews and the beautiful appearance and modern look of the machine. Yesterday I ordered it and was determined to try it out. We searched recipes that included ingredients we had on hand. We landed on French bread recipe in the book that came with the machine though we did not have bread flour. Determined to try it I opted to use standard store bought flour. I added all ingredients in the order it said and watched the machine knead the dough. It was fascinating how it switches course to mix the dough well and pick up the parts stuck to the side of the baking box. It was around 8:30 when I started so I fell asleep on the process which was going to be around 3 hours. I woke up to a fresh smelling hot loaf of bread 🥖 in the middle of the night. A perfect little 🍞 loaf!!! I am thrilled with this machine and also ordered the cookbook that one reviewer recommended. I did wrap it in foil while warm which you Should NOT do. This morning when I woke to slice and freeze it , it had sweat a bit and had some moisture on top. So be sure to let it cool thoroughly before storing. I highly recommend this machine. It is not loud to me at all. And it’s a beautiful machine which is definitely a plus!! Update: Just added pics from my second loaf…. Tomato 🍅 bread! Yumm… recipe came from the separate cookbook I ordered.

So easy to use
I just read through a whole lot of other peoples' reviews and I am surprised at any of the negative comments. This is the first time I have ever made bread either by hand or using a machine, so I was prepared to experiment it. In the days leading up to the Neretva arriving, I binged on Bread machine YouTubes. I found the instructions simple and easy to understand with one exception, when can I take the dough out if I want to put it into a different pan or make rolls? I'm sure I will figure that out with a bit.of.practice. I've made 2 loaves so far, one from the recipes provided and one from online, both turned out super tasty, I was delighted. The problem now is going to be keeping my bread consumption in check. Tip: the first loaf I made was a 2lb loaf. I had all the ingredients for a 2lb loaf but ended up making a 1.5lb loaf. That happened because I set the loaf size before I set the program number and when I set the program # it reverted to the 1.5lb loaf setting and I didnt notice. EVen with using ingredients for a 2lb loaf and it only turning out a 1.5 lb loaf size, it was still really tasty, just very dense, which I didn't mind. Some people say that it is noisy. I chose my dishwasher because it was virtually silent, so I'm not the type of.person who likes noisy appliances, but this does not seem noisy to.me at all. No it's not dead silent but.it.is only a gentle sound when it is kneading and not very loud at all. Cleaning is easy. As soon as I tip the bread out, I put Dawn and hot water into the pan about half way up and let it sit for a while to soak off any baked on bits. This also seems to help with removing the little paddle cause 2/2 times it has been super easy. The size is perfect for me, it fits into a corner on my counter so it's small footprint doesn't take up much space while it's cooking for 3 hours. It also fits neatly into a hall cabinet cause I am going tontry to only use.it once a week, so I don't eat too much bread. All in all this little machine was well worth every cent!

Bakes perfectly!
Very easy to use! I also like that it is attractively made and won't be an eyesore if you leave it out in your kitchen. It mixes the dough well and bakes the bread perfectly. Tip: When a recipe says you can use butter instead of oil, and an egg in place of all of the water, try it! It's so nice to bake fresh bread that only has a handful of ingredients but, if I'm being perfectly honest, I must confess that the store-bought bread that contains 27+ chemicals and preservatives vs 5-7 honest ingredients, can sometimes tastes soooo much better when compared to the simple bread.... However, there are MANY bread recipes to try!

Stekker onbruikbaar in Europa.
Dat de broodmachine een stekker heeft die in Europa niet bruikbaar is. Ook niet even zomaar op te lossen met een speciale stekker kopen of transfo. Een grote teleurstelling en onbegrip dus. Broodbakmachine teruggestuurd. Gelukkig was dat geen probleem waarvoor dank.

Dont waste your time and money
This machine is terrible! It jumps off the counter . It makes terrible bread and I've tried different recipes. It is now not working properly at all . I wanted to send back but apparently I'm too late . I only had a months grace. I didn't realize that when I purchased. It was very expressive so I thought the machine would be good and the customer care would be better. Please don't buy !

Works great for mixing dough
Works great for mixing dough! I haven't gotten bread to cook and turn out in it yet, but it might be the recipes that I've been using. I've made pizza dough in it and it's very easy! Once I found the right recipe I've been making it lots now. Just put the ingredients and for about 40-45 min I can do something else.

Have patience
I actually hated this machine at the start. I tried a few of the recipes from the handbook it came with and they were awful. Then I read in a reddit thread to buy the book "the ultimate bread machine cookbook" and i am SO glad i did. The machine didnt suck - the recipes it came with did. I now LOVE this machine and I use it daily. Its quiet. It doesnt move off the counter lol that was a user error i'm sure. Its pretty looking too - as a bonus. You can easily get recipes off the internet and use them here. Just make sure youre aware of the amounts of bread. As a general rule - use the 750g setting if the recipe calls for 3.5 cups bread or less. I dont know how anyone could use the 900g recipes in this machine - the machine seems to small for those recipes. I love the dough setting- makes making cinnamon buns SO easy. Have patience when you first buy this. Your first loaf will suck if youre brand new. Make sure you put your salt and sugar in on the sides of the inside of the machine so they fall down into the liquid when it starts. Make a small well in the top of the flour mound and put the yeast IN the little well. Make sure your liquids are warm when you put them in .

I recently got the Neretva Bread Maker, and it has completely transformed my baking experience! With 20 functions, this machine is incredibly versatile. From classic white bread to gluten-free options and even jams, it does it all with ease. Ease of Use: The intuitive controls and clear display make it super user-friendly. I love being able to set it and forget it. The automatic timer is a game-changer for waking up to fresh bread in the morning! Quality: The bread comes out perfectly every time—crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The non-stick pan is easy to clean, which is a big plus. Design: It looks sleek on my countertop and doesn’t take up too much space. The compact design is great for my kitchen. Overall: If you’re a bread lover or just looking to explore baking at home, the Neretva Bread Maker is a fantastic investment.
