McFarlane ToysSpawn The Clown Deluxe Box Set

Got it for a discount since the packaging was damaged, which was fine by me. It prioritizes aesthetic and sculpt over articulation, which isn't a bad thing given how well it still balances those three. The head has a surprisingly high amount of range, the arms and legs are about as stubby as they look but he stands very well and has a good center mass. It is the definitive version of this character, and no Spawn collection is complete without it. The Turret Backpack piece is very cumbersome but mine clipped in very well, made the figure considerably more top-heavy. I recommend propping it against something behind him so it is leaning slightly backwards otherwise it will be prone to falling forward often.

Clown! What’s not to love? Ok maybe I don’t live the giant silly backpack, I wish he didn’t have that and was just a regular figure. Aside from that he’s amazing and everything you would want in a clown, the details on his jack are incredible. I did paint in some details on my own to really make it pop. The sculpting on him is top notch and the way his joints move and hide all the pins is excellent. Best clown in the spawn line right here.

This item is worth $40. It is a heavy duty and solid action figure. He comes with a bunch of cool stuff. Mine had issues holding his knife. I love the big backpack with gun! They look awesome and cool and sure to bring out the kid in any collector.My biggest complaint is he has a hard time standing up when you have his big gun pack on his back. It takes a bit to get him to stand. The Clown's knees need to be a bit more stiff to hold the weight of the back pack.

Okay....I can't say this enough.....AMAZON pack the boxes better with items that are collectables. Once again a little bit of box wear all due to poor boxing. I am glad it was not enough to warrant sending it back (like my crushed Swamp Thing). On to the figure......WOW....just WOW!!! This thing is big -- bold --- and makes me want to open the box to play with it. Get this before the price goes back up!!!

I got mine on sale, so for the price it was worth it. I'd recommend mainly for the Spawn lovers. Anyone who isn't doesn't care for The Clown. They don't understand how important this character is and only think it's some overly used form of comedy. Like I said Spawn lovers will truly enjoy this. Arrived very fast and nicely shipped. A great addition to a Spawn collection.
