So far out of all of the sound bar systems I have tried,nothing compares to Vizio for the money. I have never had the pleasure of hearing a Samsung, LG, ora Sony soundbar. But I have tried JBL, Polk and TCLsoundbars and none of them even compare to Vizio!These Vizio soundbars remind me of my old Pioneer dolby surround 5.1 receiver set up with a subwoofer, center channel, and front and rear satellite speakers I had about 25 years ago! I think it is so cool that I don't need to even purchase a receiver and try to figure out where to put everything. However, back to the remote control, the one thing I hate about the vizio systems is their remote controls. I like the way they are set up to control all of the speakers but if I wanted to be able to see the remotes even in daylight, I had to use the flashlight on my cell phone! This remote works with three different Vizio soundbar systems that I have. And all I've have had to do is point and click! Absolutely no set up necessary. And I can see the damn thing in any setting! Why Vizio didn't include a backlight in their remotes such as this one is beyond me! As far as I'm concerned, you should buy one of these remote controls for every Vizio soundbar you have and throw the one that comes with it in the trash! Thank you to the makers of these remotes for fixing the only flaw I have found with Vizio soundbars!

Ok...I ordered this remote and work right out of package....But I actually ordered the wrong remote for my model but this remote worked great without the other features I actually needed to get my model to peak...I didnt return cuz not sellers fault its lmine 💯 so I kepted remote in case my actual replacement goes bad again I can turn on and off and basic settings going...

I purchased this after I broke my old remote and this one is a perfect copy of my old remote, all functions work and I highly recommend it

Purchased due to the original remote getting lost. Connected and worked perfectly as soon as turned it on.

Gave 3 stars only because its a plug-n-play, you put the batteries and the controller worked as if it was the original, no setup needed. What I don't like is that:1) It does not have all the functions and features like on the original remote. This one is missing around 4 or 5 setting options (like the option to distribute sound in different output modes Surround, Front, Sub and Front Bar). In the EQ button it has a "Dialogue" option which wasn"t in the original remote and this one dorsnt work, or does anything. Also, in the Levels button, this replacement ONLY has the options of Bass, Treble and Subwoofer, its missing other options the original remote has.2) Price. If you go into Vizio's webpage, you can order the remote replacement with them directly for $15.99 plus s/h; obviously I orderedd in Amazon cuz it was not available from Vizio directly, which makes me think that if I am paying more for a replacement, I though it would have minimum the same features/functionality, not LESS.Apart from that, well, it works, I can change volume and some volume settings, so for now it works, but I'll still be buying another replacement from Vizio as I like playing with the audio settings depending on thw movie or game.
