Water runs right off. Medium size fits a little bigger than they should be easily tightened with adjustable waist. Legs are very large. Like parachute pants. I will have to get them tailored for sure but for the price and material it’s forth it.

I have always preferred military surplus goretex rainwear for those times when I must keep the rain and wind out. My old set finally started to leak after more than 20 years of use. I bought these pants for a hunting trip to the north slope of Alaska. I got to use them in some very wet and cool conditions, including a ride on the front of an airboat in the rain. They worked great and kept the rain and wind out.Keep in mind these are intended as an outer layer over your other outdoor/hunting pants. Their zippered leg openings, adjustable cuffs, and large pockets are very useful.

Have only worn them for one winter season so far. I have warn them in the rain, kneeling into in 2" deep water, mud, came out dry on All Occasions. Also very wind resistant great over cover for fleece.

Excellent fit for wearing over a base layer and jeans. These are a medium regular and I have a 34” waist. About the pants. The cargo pockets are a nice feature. Pass through openings so you can reach your pants pockets. Side zippers at cuffs to make doning easy. Heavy duty material, single thickness, no liner like the first Gen ECWCS had. These are lighter. Seam tape is well done. Wish I could find a matching coat.
