APEC Water Systems RO-PUMP-120V Top Tier Ultra Safe Reverse Osmosis Drinking Water Filtration System with US Made Booster Pump

This system is great! It saves me money and hassle from having to exchange 5 gallon water jugs, and it makes top-grade ice. I opted not to have it under my sink, considering how much of a hassle it would be to change the filters. I mounted my system right next to the water softener in the basement(which made it easier to connect to my fridge anyway). The issue I have with what came in the box is the inlet adapter that comes with the system is straight thread, not NPT, so the sucker kept wanting to leak! Luckily I was trying to hookup to an old washing machine line, so I found an adapter at my local hardware store. I also needed to 3D print a drain saddle to fit the 2" line I was tapping into for my waste water. All-in-all, this system is well worth it.

Did a LOT of research before Finally BUYING this system... got the one with the booste/pressure pump. The EZ to follow diagram made this install a no-brainer. The Only thing I had a question about was how long to wait after hooking up the source before turning on the pump....din not want to burn the pump up if it was running with no water going thru it... No instruction about that. BTW the answer to that is immediately after you have the water source enabled... Have had this system for 3 months now and we love it.

Had a plumber come out to install the system and most of the included hardware failed immediately, so he replaced it with high quality metal parts instead of the plastic they send you. The system does not work and the plumber could not figure out why. There is water pressure to the system but it doesn’t make it all the way through. Save your money.

I have had this system for almost a year and Because my whole house water was already at 1 micron I changed out some of the 5 micron filters it included with my 1 micron filters, but it works well. The only real issue I had was getting minerals back into the water and I purchased 2 different mineralizing filters, but they didn't do much....I called the company (APEC) and got to talk to a person that was knowledgeable and helpful. they recommended their Max mineral canister, which doesn't seem to be for sale anywhere, but they sent me one no charge! Great customer service so far!

I was replacing a 15-year-old unit, installation was simple, unplug and connect incoming water, wastewater, pure water lines and plug in the motor, did not replace the faucet. I am on well water and incoming TDS is around 1400. Best TDS reduction for old unit was 84% rejection with 1:4+ gallon pure to waste. Old unit did have a booster pump. This unit reduced TDS 94% rejection with a 1:3 gallon pure to waste. Summary: Greater TDS reduction and a savings of 25% in wastewater. 6 month update: still working well at around 95% rejection rate

Was shopping for my first RO system. I choose this because its American made, their charity program to others, my research for a good product and price of filters and replacements. I'm very pleased with ease of installation, I decided to mount mine in the basement (because of potential leaks) and pump it up to the faucet. Very quality system, very quality faucet and very pleased. I decided to add the mineral cartridge for flavor based on other reviews and am not disappointed. Very happy customer and would highly recommend. I was leery because there were not too many reviews, but it must be a new option with the pump.

We live in Hawai'i on the Hāmākua Coast and depend on rainwater catchment for all our water needs. We have an incredible pre-filter system with UV but never feel comfortable drinking anything that's not RO. We have a terrific amount of SO2 and other containments in the air from the on-going Kilauea eruption. Rat lung worm is also all a major concern. Our water pressure is fairly low and with past systems that didn't have the 110 volt booster pump production was slow and the quality was so-so. This unit is incredible! 5 stars. It's a bit tricky to assemble and connect if you've never done it before but worth the time. This is our third and final RO filter system. You won't be disappointed!
