Q: How many do you get in a bag?

i think mine came with 50 or 100. Cannot remember for sure.

Q: Are these for RG-56? Becasue the top description says RG-59 but the bottom Description says RG-6

They are RG 59 BNC connectors they are for security cameras! RG 6 connectors are for cable connections there is no RG 56! I hope this help you... I am a contractor

They should work with both Plenum and Non-plenum. The difference in the cable is the material it is made of. The dimensions will be the same.

Yes, the copper from the coax is cut longer than the jacket. The BNC connectors come with the extra copper inner conductor connector which the cable inner conductor slips into. Once you crimp with a compression tool, it all gets pulled together. You need that extra piece so you get proper mating to the connector. Unlike a regular coax connector (Type F used for your TV), don't try to crimp without this inner piece or you will not get a proper connection.
