Amazing Product.
Very thin plastic paint. Best if spray, not to brush. I spray paint my whole car. I only used 2 gallons to paint my Tesla Model X. The results were amazing. Cheaper than wrapping the car.

Costs too much for what it is but still less than paint
Would I do it again? Yes, every 5 years. It is a very thin mix. I had to use a house sprayer and start my spray away from my truck because the first bit spit too much. Move the sprayer fast from side to side and do light coats. Build the coats up or it will run. If I owned a pro sprayer this would not be an issue but such is life. The cost of a gallon for what ever reason has gone way up. It takes 2 gallons to cover a 1978 F150 with flat black. But it is still cheaper and easier to apply than paint.

Spray ready plasti dip
Great product. Tough yet peels easily for color changes. This spray ready dip is the best way to go pricewise and even application. I sprayed a quarter panel, left it to dry and then attempted to remove. Heat friction on surface gets dip peeling. No damage to paint underneath...

This is a great product. It's so much cheaper than Vinyl Wrap
This is a great product. It's so much cheaper than Vinyl Wrap, but does same job! Although I'm not planning to, but the fact that it can be removed in the future is even more great. Definitely recommend this over Vinyl Wrap!

We did 4 coats total for a nice even layer on the feet
I bought this to use as a dip, even though it says spray. We used it to coat the bottom legs of some greenhouse benches. This was a thinner product than the traditional dip and did not need any solvent added to it. We did 4 coats total for a nice even layer on the feet. It took about an hour or so for all four coats (they dried very quickly.) Probably wouldn't recommend for anything with high use (grips on tool, etc.) but for protecting stationary objects I am thrilled.

VERY Thin and Requires Multiple Coats
I have a Aqua Cycle aluminum paddle boat that needed the seats and deck boards painted, which are made from Aluminum reinforced urethane. I have painted them in the past with house paint and marine paint. Neither lasted more than a season before pealing or flaking. So what the heck I gave the Plasti paint a try. The spray can was very thin and hardly covered anything. So I thought I would try the gallon can and brush it on. This stuff is VERY thin, like water when brushing it on. It does not cover stains well or the bare boards, requires multiple coats before it starts to look white. It is difficult to paint the vertical boards because it is so thin, it runs with anything but the lightest application. On the horizontal boards I did put it on thicker but still it took a minimum of four coats before the deck started to look white and cover the boards. It did dry quickly, maybe a little too quick--if a drop hit the foot deck board it would dry within a couple of minutes. This caused a bubble in the finish. Any drops had to be brushed almost immediately to blend them into the surface. The quick dry time did allow me to put additional coats of paint on during one session, I just worked my way around the decking and seat and when I was done the first deck I painted was dry enough to hit it again and work back around the other decks and seat. I do not know yet how this stuff will hold up. If it is as durable as advertised than it will be worth the time and effort. If it turns out to be the same as regular paint than I will not be a happy customer. I have my fingers crossed and will update this posting as needed. UPDATE ON QUALITY: I put this on the paddle boat less than two months ago. I went out this morning and the Plasti Dip is peeling up on the bottom deck board! This deck has seen very little use, a couple of times I had to stand on it to put fishing rods on the boat. No heavy traffic or loads. WHAT A WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY !!! I originally gave this 3 stars but, after this lack of durability I have to drop it down to 1 star. Needless to say I will not be buying anymore of this paint. I would caution anyone thinking of buying this to do a realistic appraisal of what you will be doing on the surface of the project.
