This is an amazing item. I have very sensitive skin and it got rid of my acne. At first it does break you out but that’s because it’s getting all the deep gunk from your skin you have to give it time around a week.

If I could give CeraVe Acne Control Gel 10 stars, I would. I’ve dealt with acne ever since junior high and I am now in my 60’s. I’ve tried just about every product that exists and nothing has worked as well as CeraVe Acne Control Gel. I’m not making this up. I have even used products that contain salicylic acid and not even those completely cleared up my acne. I frequently wear makeup foundation for acting gigs and always have a huge breakout afterwards. This product quickly cleared that problem. Thank you, CeraVe, for creating something that actually works! What a huge relief to FINALLY find this product that does what it says it will do. I’ve only been using it for a week and this morning, when I woke up and looked into the bathroom mirror, I actually hollered, “Wow!”

Honestly, I don’t have any more blackheads and it makes my skin feel good. I put it on every morning and every evening. I would definitely recommend if you don’t see results immediately give it a week or two works great.

Not Effective for Severe Acne: This product seems to work better for mild breakouts, but it didn’t do much for larger or more stubborn pimples. Price vs. Performance: For the cost, I expected better results. There are other products with similar ingredients at a lower price point. Final Thoughts: The CeraVe Acne Control Gel is a decent option if you have mild acne or want a gentle treatment to prevent breakouts. However, if you’re dealing with more persistent or severe acne, this may not be strong enough on its own. It’s good but not exceptional.

I received it like almost 2weeks maybe and only now I write the review to see the result. I have acne at my chin and I put this every morning and night. It slows down the acne gently and it's almost healed. I love this product that I ordered the other Cerave recommend to combine with this foe my oily face! What a lifesaver

Then order those recommended products and follow the routine! I've used other acne treatments and gels before but this one has been the best by far! I've been using this for 10 nights (PM only) now and I started noticing the results in about 7 days. I'm still getting breakouts but they're really tiny and typically go away in a day or 2 since I started using CeraVe's Acne line of products. Prior to using CeraVe, my breakouts would take about a week to clear and then I'm left with dark spots that take weeks more to heal. Super happy with this one!
