Works for studio 2.0
Wasn’t charging, this port seems to be a common problem. I was able to solder the new port on and they charged and work like new. Only advice would be to use a fine tip soldering iron, and make sure the two screws you take out go back in. Those are different from the ones that came out of the plastic cover. And take a picture of the wires before desoldering.

Perfect fit, some soldering skills needed
You do need to do some fine pitch soldering, so you will need a temperature controlled soldering iron with a tiny tip. But it works great and the headphones have come back to life.

Gave my headphones new life!
This is EXACTLY what I needed! My toddler kept pulling out my charging cord and messed up my port. My headphones stopping charging and I was so frustrated that I would be without headphones. BUT a quick search and a replacement was available! Good thing my husband had a tiny soldering iron. He said this was really simple to install and all of the other tools were included. Absolutely love that almost every parts of these headphones can be replaced. I think it will hold up well (charging my headphones in an unreachable place hahaha) and this saved me more than $100 on a new set of Beats.

Works great if you are a bit handy with soldering
The micro usb port on the Beats Studio pro is a common failure point. Mine had become impossible to use /charge. Took at a shot at this project and it is now working perfectly. you do need to be a bit comfortable with a soldering iron and need a good one (weller) with a fine tip.

Worked perfect for me!
I’m not an electronics guy and this repair took me 10 minutes. DON’T BE AFRAID!!! You just need a really small screwdriver and some good light. I used a micro usb cable to hold the new port board while I soldered the terminals. It’s worth a shot if you’re just going to throw away your broken Beats! These headphones are the Beats Studio Wireless 2. They work just like new, hold full charge and charge fast! I recommend buying new ear pads because you’ll have to tear off the old ones to make the repair. Good luck!

Perfect replacement port but not easy to install
This looks like an exact OEM replacement part. It’s easy enough to access once you remove the ear pad and screw cover on the headphone. There are five leads soldered onto this part and the wires are tiny and hard to handle. You need good eyesight, steady hands and a good soldering iron to pull this one off successfully. Most importantly, make sure to take plenty of close up photos of the wire connections BEFORE you remove the old part. Very easy to lose track of what gets soldered where.
