I have tried a few heal rough skin removers over the years and most broke or did not work. My wife suggested I call a farrier but I passed on that option. Instead I ordered these. Best ever - really work well and clearly sturdy and won't break. I started using the 'fine' one and it works perfectly. I tossed the rest of the older ones I had - some were already broken. I have not used the 'coarse' one yet - have not had to. Anyway, if like me, you have been frustrated trying to find a durable callus remover that really works well - try this one.

I have tried creams, scrubs, files, sanding blocks, etc. The list goes on for things I have tried to get rid of the thick cracked calluses on my heels. I used this one time at the end of my shower when the feet had soaked and it removed all of the callus in one use. My heels look amazing, no longer embarrassed to show them. They are soft and smooth. I used to scratch itches on my legs with my heels, can't do that anymore. Amazing. I was looking to replace my foot file, this is not a file. It is a rasp, there is a difference. Lesson learned. So happy with this. I thought it was expensive at first, but it is worth it. They are big, bigger than a hair brush, and sturdy. Very happy with purchase.

I absolutely love this! I wish I had a before and after picture of how great this simple little 6$ tool works! I let my feet soak while showering and the skin just started to scrape away. In just one use there was a significant difference. I do a little at a time so I don’t go overboard and cut myself. Just a little tip that worked well for me.. after using this I use gold bond healing lotion and my feet are as soft as a baby’s bottom now!

I can say they are sturdy. That's what I needed. Except, they are too aggressive.I have neuropathy. One thing that helps me is keeping my feet free of that extra calloused skin that never sheds off for our footwear. I thought I'd get these because they looked sturdy having broken the crappy plastic ones that break and pumice stone is not gritty enough.Well, I ordered these. They cut through the dead skin into the living skin and made me bleed. So, I'm going to disinfect and use them as cheese grates. Cause that's what they really are.
