Built like a small construction tool. Great on the job site. I like having one in my truck at all times. You don't know what you're missing until you try it.

The pencil sits well in the hand, and the 1.3 mm lead feels great for writing.However, despite the fact that RIT offers tan or multicam cover notebooks and black pens, the pencil is bright yellow, which makes it rather visible.The pencil is not all metal, the yellow part of the body is plastic, so it is not very durable. Usually, the most weak point in this construction is where the metal black tip screws onto the yellow part of the body.The lead shaft accepts only one lead.

I’ve always been a fan of the fine point.5mm mechanical pencils. This is a whole new experience. Still see the use of the fine pencils but this is the one I carry now.

Easy to hold comfortable as well as durable. This refillable carpentry pencil is the best ever. Bright clear lines to mark cuts and for sketching as well as writing

Odd...the lead in the pencil is soft, but it doesn't break or smear. I've used it for hanging pictures, especially on unlit walls and/or when precision placement of the hook(s) is important. Why? Because when it comes time to bang in the nail, you can actually see the mark you made with the RiteInTheRain pencil.

I bought this pencil for my husband and he loves it. He is a rugged hard working man and this pencil is hold up to his roughness. Thankful there is this type of pencil!
