Light weight, extremely durable and an excellent bag to hold them! I was a bit dubious of what quality I would get at the price but was pleased at what I was received. I've used the knife to cut up steak with zero issues!! I will definitely be ordering a couple more sets for our family kits.

These utensils are well sized for actual use rather than many other models that choose compactness over usability. Same can be said for how comfortable they are to hold in the hand. While they aren't as balanced or easy on the hand as high end cutlery intended for the dining room, these are pretty good as camp utensils. Additionally, they don't have many unnecessary nooks and crannies (read folding mechanisms and weight relief holes) to gather food residue, so they're pretty easy to clean. The rough sand blasted finish does not slip as much as polished finish in oily hands. The material is thin but the u-channel stamped along the handle is enough to give the utensils the required stiffness and aids grip in the hand at the same time. The knife is not a sharp steak knife, but it will cut through a medium rare New York strip with some effort. Actually, that's how it's supposed to be for camping utensils for safety. I always have an actual sharp knife for general cutting needs around the camp anyway, so not having to worry about sheathing more sharps in the pack is a good thing. The spoon is a good balance between large enough to scoop chili and rice and small enough to stir tea or coffee without spilling. It may be a tad small for broth, but I usually just end up drinking the broth any way...camp etiquette. I appreciate that the fork has some concavity built in which helps with scooping. Other than that, it's a fork and it picks up stuff. The can/bottle opener doubles as a holding bracket for the other utensils. I will hold them without rattling. I usually don't need anymore can/bottle openers as every other camp related device has one built in, but it's more useful in a pinch than the keychain-sized carabiners the other models come with.
