Would someone please advise me of the folded dimensions of this Olivia hair brush? Also, how many rows of bristles? Many thanks!

I will be using this with a blow dryer to straighten cowlicks, is it heat safe? Or will the boar bristles melt?

Never used it with a blow dryer. It’s not that hefty. I carry it my handbag to refresh the top.

Want to use this for my beard, but only interested in the boar bristles. Is it possible to trim the plastic ones to their level, to make it smoother?

I imagine it would be possible to trim the plastic bristles, but I'm not sure you'd want to. The existing plastic bristles have a rounded edge so they don't scratch. You would lose that by cutting them. If you cut them shorter than the boar bristles that might help, but I still think there would be a risk of them scratching your face.

How do you get it to fold back up?

Hello, there is a hinge on the brush that holds it straight in place. Once extended, just use a little force to unhinge the brush and place in the folded position. After a few uses, it will break in, allowing for ease from folded to extended use. Happy Styling! -Olivia Garden
