On-Q EN1400 14Inch Enclosure with ScrewOn Cover

Read and believe the reviews! I, like a bunch of other reviewers would've given this enclosure 5 stars BUT the cover doesn't fit! No way, no how! So, what I came up with what is shown in the pic. There is a piece of cardboard that comes inside the enclosure. I wrapped that in white duct tape (because who doesn't have multiple rolls of it laying around) put it back turned around. It's a perfect fit because it's from the original packaging.So yes, I would recommend this enclosure but buy it knowing the cover won't fit and having a plan to work around that.

I got everything mounted and installed. I was ready to close it up and then..... the stupid screws excluded with the cover are too big for the enclosure. Now, I need to go try to find the right size. Not like I can tear the enclosure out of the wall now. You would think that Legrand would have checked that. Don’t buy the set unless you have a lot of extra sized screws lying around.

Using it to keep the cable modem and router out of harm's way in an AirBnb. The 3 antennae on the router perfectly stick up through the holes in the top, and it is easy to put a power outlet on the bottom. I have a smaller version of this box surface mounted at another property, but this one fit perfectly between the studs. Well built and sturdy!

No knock-out plug fillers make this unit only in wall mountable. I know they say you can surface mount but then OnQ went the cheap route and failed to give you anything to plug the holes with. Really what did they save $1?

This is a good in-wall enclosure for the intended purpose. About the only thing I wish they offered was a model with j-boxes attached because it would be a time saver on install and wiring.
