Give good body
It's a bit over priced but works wonder on thin hair.

Best product for fine, straight hair
I've used this product for 15+ years and have yet to find a better one for fine, straight hair. It adds volume and shine without stickiness or weight. An added plus is its pleasant fresh scent.

AVEDA - Stop Allowing Sellers to Perpetuate Scams!
I have used this product for many years and have always liked it very much. Like many other products, the price on this one has jumped considerably - to the point where it's essentially overpriced. My reason for the 1-star is because I'm disgusted that Aveda is allowing Amazon sellers to perpetuate this scam of selling the travel size - a mere 1.4 OUNCE - for around $30. What a complete rip-off. That should be the approximate price of the 3.4 OUNCE regular size. PUT A STOP TO THIS AVEDA! - you're better than this. My order arrived today and had leaked out, thoroughly soaking the packaging. That's happened before...that's not what I'm ticked off about. I got Amazon to give me a 100% refund due to the damage but Amazon ALSO should not allow this type of scam to go on.

Provides light lift
I’ve ordered for the 3rd time now, and this time, bottle was smaller. Provides light lift. If too much applied, can weigh hair down so I just use about 3 to 4 spritzes before blow drying. I have fine hair, but it’s thick.

Travel Size
I should have been more careful about the number of ounces. These are small! I paid more than I should have.

Beware! Tiny 1.4oz Bottle. Larger Bottle Available for Similar Price
This is an overpriced tiny bottle selling for just a few dollars less than the bottle 3x larger. The pictures are identical and it is very hard to find the bottle size in the description. I suspect it is a bit of a scam, the seller going for the people who think they are getting the same bottle for a few dollars less, but actually getting a ridiculously small travel size.

I have been a long time user of Aveda Volumizing tonic and it really works for my fine and limp hair. Imagine my shock when I thought I was ordering 100 ml for this price, but got a travel size 40 ml. I originally thought I had misread the page. I can purchase this product at a hair salon for a fraction of this cost. In fact, the large size usually costs under $50 and I see it is now being offered on Amazon for $119.40. A comparison of the sizes is in my photos...what I thought I ordered for the price, and what I got. I didn't return the teeny tiny bottle as I was leaving on a trip the day it arrived and decided to take it with me. I am giving this one star, not for the product, but because of the cost and the deception. Amazon needs to dispose of this supplier.
