Purchased these to replace the "headlights" in my riding mower. They're bright enough to offer some illumination near dusk and if (like me) you need to ride in the street occasionally. Can't speak to a car use but they'll work as replacements in a riding mower should you want an upgrade.

Nice thing about these lights are the run cooler than your factory RV incandescent lights. They are better for the outside but not as warm bright as the factory lights for the inside. Only time will tell how long they last, value, easy install

The color and brightness of these bulbs is good (first picture). Unfortunately, the emitter chips are nowhere close to where they'd need to be even to approximate a 1156 filament (second picture). Therefore, if you put them in a reflector housing that expects a 1156 bulb, the beam profile is going to be radically different (third picture). That doesn't mean they're bad bulbs per se (and certainly they're not n expensive experiment), but they're useless for my particular application.

They're great and bright. I've had them for a few weeks now and no issues. Very happy with my purchase.

Used these for my license plate lights, nice and bright. Side note is with a Miata using bulbs, switching to led you have to flip the wires around (switch polarities) on the connector (red in black and black in red) helps to use a very small flat head to get the wires out of the connector.
