Barely adequate
Pros:* Very cheap and light-weight for the height* Has a good amount of adjustment* When collapsed, this is one of the smallest 50" tripods available* Built-in air bubble leveler* Pretty easy to set upCons:* Kinda tilts too much to the right (or the left, depending how you mount your camera) and although you can adjust the roll, it doesn't seem to work well.* It's just so flimsy and wobbly. There are only 2 main reasons you would want a tripod: to hold the camera up at a certain position where someone else can't do it for you, and, to hold the camera still enough so you can get a sharp image. It accomplishes the first objective fine, but this tripod is VERY wobbly, and the wobble lasts for a long time. If you want to take a photo at full elevation in low-light situations, you pretty much MUST use a remote after not touching the camera for at least 15 seconds. The slightest breeze or your own footsteps will make this sway. If you don't extend the vertical rod, that will dramatically reduce the wobble, but that's a lot of height you'll lose.At this price point, I would expect some flimsiness or mediocre adjustment. But, I docked 2 stars because this has unacceptable performance for what a tripod is supposed to do.

It also extends out easily, the legs just slide right out and then ...
I bought the tripod as it is very light and I planned to use it for backpacking. It is in fact very light, and I do not notice the extra weight in my pack while hiking. It also extends out easily, the legs just slide right out and then lock solidly in place, and the head levels out fairly easily. The problem with it is it is too light. Even using a remote I get lots of shaky images. It seems it is too sensitive to movement from wind, or if you happen to be on a platform, from what you are setting up on. It is best on flat solid ground. I would add a weight to help hold it in place, but know when buying this item is not equipped with a hook to do so, so you would have to rig something. For the price it's great to play with and does a pretty good job. I am working with mine to modify for better stability in the field (aka making a rock hammock to add stability and weigh it down in place). But on its own there is risk you may not get a good steady image, or worse it will tip and potentially fall, resulting in damage to your camera. I had to catch mine a few times and often felt very anxious walking away from it (say to arrange thing for a photo shoot). In the end I will need to get a heaver, less sensitive, model for my needs. I used this tripod with my Sony A6000.

Easy to throw in my backpack
It is extremely light weight and compact. Easy to throw in my backpack. As long as you aren't smashing it under things or trying to snap it in half, it shouldn't break even though the materials might not seem durable; it can stand its own (pun intended).
