can i get the lens type as convex not flat

No this mirror will only come as flat glass. This mirror is designed to fit over your existing mirror glass.

Replacemnet or Glue over existing mirror?

Yes, this mirror glass replacement is adhered over the existing damaged mirror.

The mirror on the car is heated. Will this adhere with the heat? Will the heat from below defrost this mirror installed over the top?

Heater and defogger will be not funtion and must be removed. The mirror for the price is just the mirror. If you want the other features you must buy the $300.00 plus option mirror on line or the dealer. The heater and defogger do not work very well anyway. If you want save money remove the feature(unplug) and tape off the end of the wire. Mirror works fine with motor.
