OVERALL: I was quite pleased with this product...I thought I'd get a sort of make it work kind of product, especially given the low price. What I received was heavy duty, easy to assemble (for the most part), and top quality. I'm extremely pleased with the value and quality of the purchase. I've given my thoughts in 3 sections below for setup, and quality for fire protection & security. This is to be used for a small church, but I will likely get another for my home businesses as well.SETUP: The File Organizer popped into full shape quite easily. It was a tad bit of a struggle to get the provided plastic rails for hanging file folders to stay in place, but after I got the box over half loaded, everything stayed in place like a champ.FIRE PROTECTION: The features to protect records from fire and water exceeded my expectations...flaps covering the zipper, zipper overlapping the inner frame, lock allowing zipper to remain fully closed and organizer to remain sealed against fire. I haven't tested the organizer against a building fire (and do not plan to), but I have confidence that the file organizer will protect our records, especially since we will be storing this on the lowest level floor with no combustibles nearby.SECURITY: While I have no doubt that a movie spy could pick the lock in a heartbeat, this lock will keep the records inside secure from walking off or being accessed by our members that shouldn't see them. We are storing sensitive paper records in a fire safe with greater security, but small volume...this file organizer is for the overflow records that need to be protected for continuity of operations, insurance policies, paper copies of things backed up online, etc. It provides perfect security for this purpose.

At the time of writing this I have now been using it for almost three mo this. I travel for work and use this to keep materials separated for quick access. I like that it’s compact and easy to clean. The metal handles are sturdy and make it easy to handle and move. I have no complaints at this point.

This is a great storage box very durable and good quality with built-in lock. The file folders slide nicely and there is plenty of room for other items as well. I would recommend this box someone with limited space that needs a small hanging file system. Not to mention it’s fire proof and waterproof so your personal belongings are very well protected! Great value so glad I made the purchase!

This is nice and large. Holds all my stuff with room left over. The ability to lock it is a nice feature. Would buy again.

This is a great size because it can fit on many shelves, including closet shelves, or even stack in the corner of a closet. Much less heavy than many alternatives for fireproofing. I am using for both collectibles as well as file folders. It is sturdy and easy to lift/move with the handles. Nice way to provide extra security just in case of fire or floods.

Needed this for the back seat of my vehicle. Liked the idea that it was portable so I could haul it to my desk when needed. First, the good. It is sturdy and zips shut, has two handles and is relatively easy to haul around considering its size. I really didn't need the ability to have it fold up but there it was. OK, now the not so good. Rigidity is supplied by two plastic U shaped bars that slip over the top edges. The hooks on the hanging folders rest on these. In my opinion this is not the optimal way to have the whole box hold its shape. I made the mistake of trying to lift the box from the back seat without zipping the cover first. The plastic bars gave way, the folders came out and papers went everywhere. OK, I thought, accidents happen but, although I never had papers go flying again, the bars have slipped out frequently and the folders have ended up in the bottom of the box requiring resorting. I have glued the bars down so this won't happen again. Make no mistake, this is a sturdy box and with the cover zipped works exactly as described. However, unless you really need the ability to fold the box up for storage, take my advice and glue those blankety-blank bars down.Update 7/2022 After using this for a year I've learned that the plastic bars weaken over time and allow the sides of the case to bow out. My files are a continual jumbled mess in the bottom of the box. Got to downgrade this from four stars to three.

My dad needed a box to store some more important documents. The big, heavy fire boxes were simply too heavy and bulky. Saw this and we thought why not give it a try.While we hope to never find out how fire and water resistant it is, it should fit our goal; which is in case of emergency, it is easy to take.

I've found this product to work well for me. I use it to store important files and it holds quite a bit. It fits well with my home office decor and it doesn't take up too much room.Give it a try... I think you'll be happy with the product.
