Great for on-screen drawing devices (Wacom, iPad Pro, TabletPCs, etc)
I've had my Keynamics Aviator stand since 2005 and it still isn't showing any signs of wear. I originally bought it for use with a heavy HP workstation class notebook computer, but now it serves as an angled stand for my Wacom Mobilestudio Pro 16 TabletPC. For me, it's absolutely perfect for that. It's got a great angle for drawing, none of the vents are blocked, and there's no risk of scratching the rear camera. I love that it's catelevered so that the front of my device is closer to me, while maintaining ultimate stability. It's also light and packs relatively flat, so it's not taking up much room in my backpack. I've been recommending them to everyone who's been looking for a stand solution for their MobileStudio Pro, since Wacom has been lagging on the availability of the official stand. For the price and portability, I'd still go with this guy.

Simple, easy set up; great for on the go use
Great value for the price. Very simple, easy set up. Use our Dell Inspiron 15R and it fits in fine. Not very substantial but the fact that it is light and easy to take apart and put it in a computer bag for on the go is a plus.

Best stand I have ever used
I love this stand. It holds the computer in the correct position to type. My typo rate has gone way down. And most important it keeps the cats from walking on the computer and knocking it onto the floor. It is easy to move the computer around on the desk while it is on the stand; but it is also easy to set it to stay in one place.Best stand I have ever used.

Exactly what I needed!
I replaced my desktop computer with a laptop, but I needed to be able to view the monitor without bending my neck. This laptop stand's ability to sit beyond the edge of my desk allows me to view the monitor at eye level and use the built-in keyboard. I saw many other stands, but they all required a separate keyboard to meet my needs.I have a disability that requires me to have the full head, neck, and back support of my desk chair and it also made cleaning around all my desktop computer's cords and peripherals difficult. With this Laptop Stand, I did away with all the cleaning difficulties and can use my laptop computer comfortably at my desk!I should add that I have a 17.3" laptop with a full keyboard, but this stand will easily work for smaller laptops, too. Be sure to read the specs!

It arrived broken into 5 parts. Nothing else needs to be said. Don't bother

Too heavy, does not improve ergonomics for me
Bought this since I was carrying a 15 inch laptop on planes, which was heating to uncomfortable levels after a short time. I boughtthis stand, hoping to keep the laptop cool, and make it easier to type. I care about ergonomics, as I used to suffer from Carpal Tunnel syndrome. The three-piece construct is easy to put together, and is sturdy, but it fails in all other parameters - it's quite heavy, and working with the laptop on it was not comfortable. Perhaps it takes some getting used to, but the weight didn't justify carrying this around. If you like working with a laptop stand, then it's probably a fine product. I feel much better off without it.

laptop stand
It arrived broken but didn't want to return it so a little super glue and it's as good as new. Laptop has not heated up since we started using it.

It's just what I needed
I have near constant severe neck and shoulder pain on my left side. I don't know why and can't claim that this simple yet ingenious invention has cured me but it certainly makes my time at the computer a lot easier. I put my 13" Macbook (an old white one) in the stand and slide it towards me until the notches on the bottom of the stand settle on to the edge of my table. Now my keyboard is close and at a comfortable angle and my display is higher so I don't have to look down. I like how the grippy tread is only in the notches so it's easy to slide into place and then firmly seated once the notches engage with the table edge. When not in use it slides back out of the way. I don't travel but the stand consists of three parts that simply fit into each other and would be so easy to pack and transport. I'm so glad I picked this one.
