Think I found a Keeper
Was looking for a wide angle camera that had the video quality of my current ReoLink cameras and I think I found it. The build quality is very good, construction is solid and the body has a very durable feel to it. Initially hooked this up to my current Blue Iris system and was disappointed because I could only get .jpg stills. After contacting the seller, who quickly responded with a personalized "how to" video and the awesome support team at Blue Iris we were able to get the camera working in Blue Iris (Please note by default the Video Streaming codec on this camera is H.265 for the camera to work in Blue Iris and most or U.S. DVR platforms it needs to be set to H.264, this is a setting in the camera itself). The video quality is very good probably some of the best I have seen in the daytime for a camera in this price range. The IR's at night provide enough illumination that you can clearly see your intended target out to 30 feet out easily. Beyond that it becomes difficult, but this camera is intended for wide angle applications and in my opinion it does that very well.

Good Daytime Camera, Terrible Software
UPDATED Feb 14, 2018This camera is, for my purposes, unusable. While I maintain that the physical build quality is good and the image is fine (when you can see it) the rest of the system is horrible. All problems from my original review remain. Additionally, the following things have come up.A.) After about 6 months in service it got to the point where I could rarely get the camera feed to come up on my IP Camera Viewer phone app (12 other cameras across 4 brands all work flawlessly in this regard).B.) After about 6 months in service I could no longer log into the camera using the Web Interface. I got an error "Network connection fails" every time. I know I was using the correct password. I tried multiple browsers, OS's, and machines. I was able to access the camera using the Camius Surveillance_center software and reset the unit. I was then able to login via the web interface using the default username/password. After changing the password I could no long log in again. After another reset, I got back in with the default username/password. After this I decided to update the firmware to see if that would help...C.) I updated my camera's firmware to the latest (dated June 5 2017) and after logging in was met with a totally broken interface (see the screenshots). While the camera sorta functions, changing any settings via the web interface is nearly impossible. Customer Service says the preferred method of interface is to use the Surveillance_client. They blame Internet Explorer and "the Plugin". Funny how every other camera manufacturer has figured out how to make a web interface that works.D.) It has no, physical, hard reset button. Thankfully I was able to get in and reset it through Surveillance_client, but even then I had to know my password (luckily I did). Other cameras I have have hard reset buttons accessible either at the end of the pigtail cable or on the circuit board after partially disassembling the camera.Basically, this camera is hot garbage and unusable. Perhaps it would be ok if you wanted to set it up and view it exclusively through their Surveillance_client software but for anyone looking to use this camera with other software suites or an FTP server it is horrendous. Absolutely the WORST IP Camera product I had the displeasure of owning.**************************************************************************************************ORIGINAL REVIEW May 18, 2017In terms of build quality, image quality, etc the camera is pretty good. My big problem is that there are some goofy shortcoming in their setup software. One of them could be a showstopper for you.1.) Your password can only be 6 characters long...2.) While it supports FTP upload, it appears as though you can only upload to the root (main, top level) directory of the FTP server you log into. You can't select to save files to a sub-folder.3.) About half the time I load a new window in the setup web interface the title/description characters all turn from English to Chinese. All of the data fields stay english however.4.) Other cameras and network devices I have (Foscam Cameras, TP-Link Wireless Access Points, Synology NAS's, D-Link NAS's, NETGEAR Web Managed Switches) have a normal web server on them so you can access their settings from any standard web browser. This unit requires that you download and install a plugin for your browser. In my case it works in FireFox/Internet Explorer but not Chrome... Additionally I haven't be able to get it to work under Linux Web Browsers.5.) The camera sometimes uploads garbage filenames to the FTP server whose names appear to be snippets of a error message6.) THIS IS THE POTENTIAL SHOW STOPPER: During the day I can access the camera over the network using an IP Camera view app. At night, All my other cameras (8 other cameras totaling 3 brands) work fine but the GuardX won't be accessed. I think it is overheating from the IR LEDs being on. It does, however, appear to still be doing Motion Detection & FTP upload.

Very satisfactory product and service!
Great product!Have 4 of Camius Ip cameras installed in my office: 3 megapixel. Very pleased with them. Resolution & coverage as promised: 1 camera covered whole room. I' using Camius software to view cameras on my Mac. The mobile app is easy-to-use. I can view all 4 cameras on my iPhone which is extremely convenient. Planning to get their recorder soon.FYI, I needed assistance with setting up software and Camius guys were very helpful with their remote session. Mobile app didn't need any assistance. Very easy- straightforward, takes seconds adding a camera to the app.

Easy to use, simple and as expected!
We got a couple just to make sure they worked out good but so far everything is as expected. The user interface has a lot of options to choose from but once you get the cameras how you like them its all pretty simple.

piece of junk.
This camera is a piece of junk. Do not buy it or you will be sorry like me.All positive feedbacks are from peoples related to seller.Stay away from their "support technicians" or "customer services" so youwill have a peace of mind. It costs me $75.00 to learn a lesson.
