2Pack Camera Rain Cover Clear Waterproof Sleeve for Camera w Lens up to 11"

I got these for my Canon M50 Mark II camera. TL:DR they work but are kind of big which is not necessarily a bad thing. Since I will be travelling in the fall and winter, I decided to get these for rainy days and to help keep water off when we're near the ocean or other water. I looked at several brands here on Amazon and these were the smallest I could find. The plastic is light but seems durable enough to get several uses out of them; maybe a couple dozen if you're careful and store them properly when not using them. Like most of the competing products it has a drawstring enclosure that goes over the lens and an open end which you can drape over a tripod or your hand. The "tube" of plastic has a straight section that encloses the lens and then a section that is angled downward for rear of the camera access. The bags are quite roomy, especially for the M50. For larger mirrorless cameras and lenses these should work well. The drawstring tightens the plastic around the lens and is open so you're not shooting through the plastic. One critique is that the diameter of the straight section for the lens is very large for the M50 lenses. I had a Sigma 16mm with lens hood on and had plenty of room. The downside of this is when you cinch up the plastic with the cord it bunches up and not evenly around the lens. It makes me think water may get in that area if you're not careful. It would be nice if that part could be smaller for smaller cameras and lenses. Also, instead of a drawstring I'm wondering if more of a Velcro strap would work better? It might allow you to fold over the excess plastic to prevent water from entering. Or even an elastic enclosure around the open end might work. Regarding the angled section it is sufficiently large to handle a variety of cameras and had room for me to put my hand in. I'd say my hands are medium-large. The plastic is clear and easy to see through, but I don't know if it will scratch or get hazy over time. We will have to see on that. One issue that I did have which might just be my camera is the eyepiece sensor would detect the plastic and shut off the back display as if I were putting the camera to my face. That's a bit annoying and could be a showstopper for some. Depending on how you have your shoulder strap connected the wrap could be an issue. It's not really set up for a shoulder strap as far as I can see. Mine is connected via a quick disconnect plate on the bottom of the camera and I would need to find a way to keep the bottom portion of the wrap closed so rain wouldn't fall into the wrap and get into the camera. I could go with a vertical attachment to a backpack strap and that would work, but I would always have to have a backpack so maybe not the most convenient. I gave these 5 stars because even though they are not perfect for me they are a well-built product and will work for a lot of people. Just be aware of the sizing and compare with your camera to see if it's a good fit for you.

I started taking photos while it's raining, and although my camera is weathered sealed, not all of my lenses are. Soni decided to take a shot and get this. I can't express enough how perfect this is and how well made they are. It's like a poncho for your camera. So far I've used it for both my Z6 and Z7 and they fit perfectly. I even tested it with my D700 with the battery grip and it fit. I tried it on my D3S and it also fit. I wouldn't recommend these for point and shoot cameras such as Leica Q or Fujifilm X100T, however, to the manufacturer, you should consider making one for those types of cameras. If you've ever worn a poncho, then you will know this feels the same, and it functions very well. This is perfect and a way to get out there and not be afraid to take photos in the snow, rain.... This is definitely a great value for the money, you really do get two for the price of one. I recommend buying two packs and keeping one in each bag as I did.

It worked for keeping camera dry. Light and very compact to keep in your camera bag for emergencies. Had a hard time keeping it over the lens structure during auto focus. I was using it holding and shooting while handheld, might work better if using a tripod.

I wish the cover was a little bit bigger, and the string was a little tighter Overall decent buy!

Exactly as expected, 2 form fitting plastic bags with the lens drawstring at one end and hand insertion opening at the other. Simple and disposable, but certainly reusable, for rain emergencies. My one caveat is when using a zoom the lens opening will slide back toward the camera (naturally). I'm packing adhesive velcro cut into small strips to apply to the lens hood to compensate.

Works great, gotta be carefull about the jonction of the thightening cord theres a small hole, solved easily with a piece of tape no big deal for the price point.

It is working exactly as intended, however you could also use any other plastic bag and it would be much cheaper. Is it worth the price probably not.

I love keeping one of these in my camera bag I never plan to shoot in the rain but these give some extra peace of mind when it happens. Secures well on the front of the lens and the fact that its clear is awesome for seeing my recording lights (paired with a matte box worked amazing, kept the body and lens dry)

I took a couple of these to niagara and found them very effective for the price. Its pretty low tech but with the addition of some gaff tape to ensure no slippage my camera came out more or less completely dry after being soaked by the largest waterfall in the world. After using tape though they are more or less ruined so depending on your use case a 2 pack may not be enough, but I found a good solution was to attatch them to a lens hood that could be used on multiple lenses
