Smarteefi is a company I’ve been observing for a while in the Smart Home space. In a market that is crowded by products that are made on Tuya’s platform and sold as Made In India by rebranding, Smarteefi is a genuine player with real bottom up development in India. Having said that, can it make justice to my money and provide me something that’s on par with global players like Aqara was my question.I’ll start with weakest aspects of this product and then move to the strongest.Fit and Finish: Although the product has a beautiful design concept, it struggles to do complete justice to that concept and provide a level of fit and finish. In the image above, you can compare the switch and the tolerances it provides vis a vid the neighbouring blank plates and sockets. It’d like to see them work towards it. The fit and finish needs to match/exceed what global players like Aqara /Lutron bring to the table.Setup Process : I had some initial troubles which were quickly addressed by the team. I hope they rectify them in their process so next customers don’t face them. Other than that, Setup with Alexa was fairly easy. Alexa integration happens using Smarteefi Account.Reliability/ Function: The switch does what it says. It’s the most reliable Smart home Product I’ve owned till date. Period.Alexa / Google Home Responsiveness: I’ve integrated it simultaneously with Alexa as well as Google Home. It works well. The responses are quick. That brings me to my long term concern about the ability of company to keep up with this level of performance and how long they’re willing to support customers. Since all of this is IP based, the day company decides to pull plug on their cloud support, I don’t know what would happen. But that’s a long term concern and I wouldn’t worry about it now. But definitely keep looking for info on.All said, I’m rooting for this company to succeeding Smart Home space. I like their initial product strategy that is based on products that can fit well into our existing boards. The fact that they can remember last state of power cut and many things that are unique to Indian context make them a player with huge potential. I’d also expect them work on a level of fit and finish where they’re able to compete globally with their products.

Very good quality but highest priced

Review based on 1month usage of device .These are the one of the best products can be selected for home automation .Its easy installation if you have basic knowledge on electric boards/panels . Main thing is we get good customer assistance from the company. Also we can get the customised design as per the requirement . Online assistance is very good.

This is awesome. My only concern is please expand ur arsenal from switches to lights to multiple things! So that people do not have to install multiple apps on their phone

Great product, Great Service and MADE IN INDIA. I upgraded my whole house with their smart switches. Works very smoothly. Have been using it for a couple of months now and very happy. Support also is grea. The management give personal attention to the their customers. Definitely sign of a company that will do really well in coming days.
