We purchased the F7N Redtiger camera about 18 months ago and it has now paid for itself 100x over when it provided evidence to the police and insurance that my wife was not the one at fault in an accident that totaled her vehicle and the other party lied to the police. My wife was going to get the ticket after the officer talked to the other party first, but she was able to show the officer the cam video and they reversed course and issued the ticket to the other party. Then the other party lied to their insurance, but after providing the video to their insurance, the adjuster immediately accepted 100% responsibility.Easy to install and with clearly written English instructions. Great suction cup with integrated GPS antenna makes installation a breeze. Cam will slide off mount if you want to hide it while parked without removing the entire mount. Crystal clear video, front at 4k and back at 2k, produce high resolution video where you can read license plates and even identify who was driving another vehicle.Even more importantly, it has a good app that you can use to directly download video from the cam without pulling the card and taking it to a computer. Just in case you are in an accident, you can instantly download the relevant video to your phone and show to Law Enforcement and e-mail to your insurance company. This is hugely important so a ticket can be issued to the at-fault party on scene as my wife did. If you can't show the officer when writing the report, they may issue the ticket to the wrong party or no one if they can't figure out who was at fault. If this happens, it's a long up-hill battle to get the other party's insurance to pay out and the police will never cancel an incorrectly issued ticket, so it forces you to go to court to defend yourself. If you are in a serious accident (if anyone goes to the hospital, it's serious), the officer may confiscate the SD card or even the whole camera for evidence. You may not get it back for weeks or even months. Sometimes they get lost an then you have nothing. We had an issue with one camera not liking our SD card and contacted support to see if we had a bum Cam or bad setting as the issue was intermittent. Turns out it was just a faulty card after running a write test on the computer. Not a big issue as SD cards are cheap, but good to know that if you have an issue that Redtiger does support what they sell.Software updates. We've owned the F7N for about 18 months and have received software updates to improve functionality. The cam was great when we got it and even better now with new features added.Proof in the pudding:We liked our F7N so much we just bought another Redtiger cam, a F7N Touch, for a new (to us) vehicle and it's great too.Note: I wasn't paid for this review nor given a demo unit or anything else. I am very satisfied with this Redtiger N7NP dash cam. After I used it for about a week, I have decided to buy two more for my wife's and daughter's cars. Installation is simple as it is a plug-and-play device. This model is connected to the cigarette lighter. After installing the front and rear cameras with the wirings, I inserted the plug into the cigarette light and the cam-recording started immediately without requiring any special procedure and afterward, the camera is ready for custom setting. I use the Manual button and the up and down button on the right side to override the default and set my preferred settings. In this model, power to the camera is always on because it has a Parking feature that continuously records when the car is park and the engine is off. However, it is designed not to drain out the car battery - the camera will automatically shut off when the battery power is down to certain level but is still sufficient to start the engine. However, you can turn on and off the camera manually by push the power button. Overall:The quality of the cameras is good. It was solidly built.The images on the screen are sharp and the screen is bright. Displays of the images can be switched for easy viewing.I connected the dash cam with my phone. I can view the images on my phone but haven't try other functions. So I cannot comment on it.I need their assistance to set the time zone, which is important because of the timestamp and another technical issue.. I communicated with them by the phone and with emails. My experience was that they were very knowledgeable and helpful. They seemed willing to do their best to resolve the issue to the customer's satisfaction. As a result, my unit works as it is supposed to be.Overall, I believe the product that I bought is a good production and Redtiger is a reliable company.

I’m blown away by its performance. The daytime footage is stunning—crystal-clear resolution captures every detail, from license plates to road signs, with vibrant colors and sharp contrast. The wide-angle lens ensures a broad view of the road, and the camera’s sleek design blends seamlessly into my car’s interior. Features like loop recording, G-sensor for collision detection, and easy app connectivity make it a breeze to use.However, I noticed that at night, the camera’s display screen shows a brighter, clearer image than what’s actually recorded. The recorded nighttime footage, while still very good, isn’t quite as vivid as what you see live on the screen. Despite this minor quirk, the low-light performance is impressive for a dash cam in this price range, capturing key details like road markings and vehicles with decent clarity.Overall, this 4K dash camera is a fantastic investment for anyone prioritizing safety and quality. The nighttime recording discrepancy doesn’t detract from its reliability and value—it’s still an amazing piece of tech I’d highly recommend
