Na segunda-feira chegaram através da desertcart e este foi o primeiro a ler. Para fãs de thrillers psicológicos que dominem o inglês, não esperem muito mais tempo. Estes são os livros dos quais falamos quando conhecemos alguém que partilha o mesmo gosto literário. Aconselho mesmo os mais reticentes a ler em inglês, não domino a língua na escrita ou discurso, no entanto na leitura flui sem qualquer stress, para mim... "A diferença entre ler em português ou em inglês, é a mesma diferença de estarmos de férias e ficarmos perto de casa ou ir para fora." One of my all time favs ! beginning to end was captivating and full of suspense. Great ending !

This is the second book by Lucinda I have read (the first being saving Noah which remains one of the best books I have ever read!)… and again I loved it. It’s told from 2 POV’s, Ella who at the start of the book has just been kidnapped by a psychopath who has a taste for ‘innocent’ holy virgin girls, and Sarah a girl also being held albeit for much longer. It flicked between then and now timelines which fits brilliantly with the story telling what happened, how it happened and also why. Each girl has their own story to tell, and completely different feelings on their time in captivity (Stockholm syndrome). We also learn of other girls who are currently and have been in the basement to and what their fate was. I was gripped throughout. I don’t want to say too much as I don’t want to give spoilers. But i definitely recommend. It is so well written.
