SUKRAGRAHA Anti Frost Never Bend Aluminium Ice Cream Scoop (Silver)

I bought this ice cream scoop to replace a scoop that had been accidentally tarnished in the dishwasher. Something about the coating on these does not interact well with the chemistry of the dishwasher. I recommend having a cup of warm water handy to making scooping frozen ice cream a little easier and washing/drying it right away to prevent accidental dishwashing!

I really want to give this product a good review because it’s sturdy and made almost perfect scoops. However, I washed the scooper and placed it on a drying mat and within a few hours the whole thing was tarnished. I got most of the tarnish off with vinegar solution but I’m disappointed for sure.

This is not an antifreeze scoop. It is lightweight and has no fluid inside. Misleading product title and description. I’m shocked that Amazon endorses this low quality product with a false description.

2 months after we got this, little metal paint flecks started shedding off of it and into our ice cream. We always gently hand washed it and kept it in it's own compartment in the drawer so it wouldn't knock up against other silverware.

I have had this ice cream scoop for about 7 months. We have only used it for ice cream and the silver coating is chipping off. It leaves weird residue on the ice cream and now we can't use it.

We used to use these as kids in the 80s and 90s but I don't see them sold anywhere anymore. It is more sturdy and cuts through the ice cream much better than every other scoop I have used.

This is exactly the kind of ice cream scoop my family was looking for. Very sturdy, cleans easily and can be warmed by running it under warm water.

The discrepancy in the product name is huge. There is NO antifreeze in the device... it boarders on a false advertisement. I purchased this item for a friends birthday... and the product failed miserably due to false representation.
