Massive cooling on OLD laptops and NEW desktop!
After recently realizing the importance of replacing thermal paste on older machines, I purchased 1.5g of PK-3.This amount covered 4 old and new gaming laptops (CPU & GPU), and a brand-new gaming desktop...5 machines total. And there's even a little more remaining in the applicator!!I benchmarked each machine before and after, and on average this thermal paste dropped the idle Celsius temperatures by 8-20 degrees. The older laptops ranged between 58-72 degrees idling, and afterwards dropped to 36-45 on average.Additionally, all of the machines would take on average 15-45 minutes to cool down after extreme gaming, and now they can cool down within 30 seconds to a minute!!When applying the thermal paste, I tried to keep the line of paste in very short piles between 1/8-1/4 of the surface area of each chip, with the intention of allowing the paste to spread itself after replacing the heat sinks. This worked very well according to temperature monitoring results, so I'll follow-up later with the long-term results.

AWESOME STUFF
I have a Toshiba Qosmio x505 Q850 with a Nvidia GTS 250M graphics card that had horrible overheating issues with the video card. This product has cooled my graphics card down so much that I'm able to overclock it wayyy beyond its stock setting. I used to have to underclock it just to function and now I have yet to break 65C under load!!!! IN A LAPTOP!!!! I used to hit 95C and shutdown! I tried to sell my Qosmio on Ebay but no body would even let you list it because it had a reputation as a defective overheating piece of junk. The Qosmio's are notorious. I read up on mine and numerous forums considered it a lemon because it had overheating issues, but this thermal paste replaced their crappy paste job and I never thought I could get this much power out of my graphics card. SO GLAD I BOUGHT THIS... It solved a problem I've had for a year and a half. The little tube had enough to do both the video card (GPU and VRAM) and the CPU. BONUS tip: don't replace your laptop thermal pads if they haven't torn. Just clean them lightly with a dab of rubbing alcohol and then put an ultra thin rub of this thermal paste on the ram chips to bridge the micro gaps between them and the pads.

Easy to apply and excellent performance
Bought thise based on the recent recommendation by Tom's Hardware and I wasn't disappointed! I ended up having to remove my heatsink once to switch my fan orientation, and the 1.5g size was enough for both the initial application and the reapplication! It cleaned off fairly easily as well. Application was easy, consistency was thick enough to apply without making a mess and spreading to a thin layer with the included spreader was a cinch. I'm getting excellent thermals in my small Ryzen 5600x ITX build (75° to 80°C while gaming, which is comfortable for Ryzen with a low-profile cooler), and I have no complaints. I may even have enough left over for ANOTHER build!

One of the better thermal pastes available
High quality, very stable thermal paste for CPU cooler installation. Easy to apply and spread on CPU. Very good thermal performance. The included quantity is plenty for several CPU installations. A little bit pricey but you'll never worry about your CPU overheating because of bad thermal paste.

A little goes a long way.
I purchased this back in 2012 for a build. After looking at parts for new build recently I decided to see what changes there have been in thermal paste to see if I needed to purchase some. That led me to go ahead and write this review. From what I can tell I will still be able to use what I have left instead. The tube is small, but I use the "pea drop" method and have used it at least three times on two cpus and one gpu. And I still have more than enough for my next build. With the gpu it helped until I could get another one as the damage from overheating had already been done. For the 2nd cpu I upgraded to a used i5 2500 and a Zalman heatsink model CNPS9500AT in 2016. For about a year now I have lived in an old house with no central air or insulation. The PC is in one of the rooms that has an AC unit.At idle those temps run mid-30s °C and a with a five minute stress test today the max temps stayed in the mid-50s. This is two years after placement in a harsher environment than where I lived before.I would definitely recommend this product, but if you are uncomfortable with the size I would suggest buying the larger size. Personally I think 1.5g is more than enough based on my experiences.

Effective heat transfer
Used this to replace Corsair TM30 (which is also very good), and found an overall 10 to 14 degree reduction in average temperature while processing exactly the same large data set. This is a new build, so the difference was not due to paste drying out.
