Great product initially!
The media could not be loaded. I made a word clock that has 130 LED's and needed enough amps. This worked great for a solid 4ish/5 months, but now is causing lots of issues. I think it has a loose connection or something. I first tried diagnosing if it was a problem with my circuit or wires, but couldn't find any problems. All my wires are wired correctly, my fuze hasn't blown, I replaced my capacitor, etc.... And as you can tell, there is a green light on the adapter and it doesn't stay on. It appears to be a loose connection. I'd say it's a solid 3/5 product.Doesn't seem to last super long though. I just barely ordered a replacement off of Adafruit.UPDATE(04/29/2019):Hello! ALITOVE has sent me a new charger and it's a 15amp. This one is working great! I'll see how long it lasts, but for now I'm satisfied and will update the review. Overall I'm happy with their customer service and that they sent me a new one. Hopeful that this one will last. Thanks!

Takes the guess-work out of it
I like the fact that the same company supplies the lights, controller and power supply. However, the lights were expensive, the controller was not included nor was the power supply. In essence, the lights cost double to get them to operate. That being said, the assembly is amazing. My biggest complaint is that if you use too much voltage (anything over 5v) with the controller you will end up burning the lights because they are rated at 5v. It's an uncommon power supply and the controller should be able to regulate the voltage down to 5v if a 12v power supply is used as allowed per the manufacturer if you don't use the lights with it.

Plenty of current to run 8 strings of Alitove WS2811 lights, but needs adapters to run power into both ends. Loose AC cord.
Plenty of current to run 8 strings of Alitove WS2811 lights, although, to voltage drop and dim lights with more than 5 strings, I needed some adapters and wire to feed power in from both ends. With a Y adapter (All Electronics CB-207), some 18ga speaker wire, a couple of extra 2.1mm to Jack screw adapters (like the one that comes with this), a 2.1mm plug with pigtails (All Electronics CB-213), and some wire nuts, got it all playing together happily. For running 4 strings it worked fine and was cheaper to get a less beefy supply (Coming Data 5V 4A 20W AC/DC Adapter Power Supply w/ 5.5x2.1mm DC Barrel Connector) and, to buy the jack screw adapter separately.Only real negative: the wall-socket side cord, as delivered, is a bit loose. The lights went out several times because ti worked loose.

Updated review - was sent a working part. (was: Hit or miss: mine missed.)
UPDATE - August 2018:I was contacted a couple of weeks ago by the manufacturer explaining that they discovered an issue. A batch of power supplies that were 240V input and destined for Australia was sent to the US by mistake. They offered to send me a replacement. They did, I tested it and it's testing fine. 5.1V output. So changing my review from 1 star to 4. Would have been 5 if this never happened in the first place. :)Old:Mine is a dud. I measured the output with nothing connected to it and I'm getting less than 3V. From reading other reviews, this is a hit or miss product. Might need to spend a little more for better quality...

UPDATE: Failed within 3 weeks, however ALITOVE sent me a new one to try
Been using the 5v/10A to power an Odroid HC1 which recommends a 5V/4A power supply. I noticed after about 3 weeks, it was going up and down. Finally stopped working properly. Swapped out the p/s with another one, and board fired right up. I could hear the board buzzing with this p/s when it wasn't working anymore (which it didn't do initially.) Replacing the p/s with another one, buzzing stops and boards boots properly. Metering shows 5v, but guessing amperage wise it wasn't supporting more than a couple amps as was able to replace it was a 5v/3A power supply and no problems at all.UPDATE: 8/19/2018Was contacted by ALITOVE that my power supply may have been an incorrect model for 110V US voltage and have shipped me a replacement power supply. I will update the review based on what I find with some testing.

Worked out of the box with my iPhone 7S with new SK6812 RGBW LEDs
I can't believe how flawlessly this works with my iPhone 7s. Immediate response, and the search to find the lights is immediate. The app allows you to specify how many LEDs in the strip. The sticky backing in the LED strip is insufficient as usual, 3M or not. Use it with "Adhesive Cable Tie Mounts Black Zip Tie" micro if possible. With the SK6812 RGBW LEDs, every pixel is RGBW, unlike in the WS2812, which are RGB then W then RGB ... and this controller has a separate brightness for the white channel. Some of the 240+ patterns apparently use the white channel, a good thing.

very good product
I have a bunch of alitove products. So far I'm very impressed with the products. The 5v/10amp is physial smaller then the 5/v15 amp. Both power supplies work will the the WB2812b addressable 5050 RGB led. The color looks very good with the LED strip. One thing to note is that you need to power both side of the 16' strip. I also have the Alitove Music controller X2. It seems like a good item for someone that is getting involved with addressable LED and wants to keep it simple. I would recommend this product.

Rugged and powerful
Works perfectly and make my LEDs strips bright and colourful. I wouldn't go any lower than 10A really. For the extra bucks, you have something really reliable and built to last. Plus, it gives you that extra wiggle room for expansion if you want to add more strips down the road !

Great
Works very well and has not shown any issues with performance. Would like to give 5 stars but there is an annoying electric whine present at any load, similar to many lower end electronics. Otherwise, an excellent buy as it is difficult to come across 5V 10A power supplies outside of online retailers.

Bulging on the case
After about an hour of On-Time, this strange smelling fluid came out of the casing, and there are two Bulges on top of the Supply. The "high quality components" are a big lie. Maybe just a defective unit.*Update: After ordering a second power supply, it has come to my attention that this is an issue with all of them, the two capacitors pop and thus make the power supply fail. Not reccomended
