Rory the Dinosaur Wants a Pet

This book is a fast, easy read with a cute storyline. I purchased it for my two year old son who loves dinosaurs. We also have Rory the Dinosaur Wants a Christmas tree.

my 3 years old loves Rory! Bed time book

Liz Climo has done it again. This is the sweetest little story, I bet your kids will love it. I just got this for my cousin who is expecting, as well as her first book, "Rory and his dad". My book was slightly smudged, but it doesn't take away from how excellent the story is!

Such a sweet story with a fun ending. The illustrations are cute and keep my children engaged.

I adore Liz Climo's blog and Facebook, so I had to get this book for my niece and nephew. The illustrations are heartwarming and the dialogue is delivered with the same perfectly expressed simplicity that makes her art so appealing. We all enjoyed the story of Rory's quest for a pet and got a smile and a chuckle off of his final choice of companion. I look forward to future books in the Rory series and would highly recommend this one to anyone looking for a children's book to gift.

Good story

I purchased this book without having been introduced to the work of Liz Climo. As a collector of children's books I was very pleased with both illustrations and writing style. The story is charming and (although simple) incredibly well written, and the illustrations endear the reader to the characters. I admit, I am more fond of Liz's comic style than this book, but that is only because she does comedy so well. The book arrived with what appears to be a smudge that may have been transferred from the inside of the cardboard box it was shipped in. Again it would be nice if books were better packaged--perhaps wrapped in newsprint--to protect the cover (in this case, the dust jacket).

I love the book but it arrived with black smudge marks all over the cover. Sadly there was no time to exchange as it was a gift. Still deciding if I can even gift it in that condition.

Wie alle Comics von Liz Climo super süß. Besonders zu empfehlen wenn das Kind gerade sorgen mit einem Freund hat(oder sich der Teenager)

As lovely as the first Rory the Dinosaur book - Rory and the other animal characters are very cute and it's a nice story to read to a child.

Bought as a fathers day present after buying the first book the previous year. Lovely story & beautiful pictures.
