can the fins be removed?

Hello Alex, Yes, to answer your questions the fins can be removed. However, we want to make you aware that reviews do suggest that removal of the fins is useless without the fins. So please understand that by doing that it will perhaps make the board a little more unstable when riding. As always we suggest that you refer to the instruction manual when deciding on riding with board with the fins or without them. Will it hold 300lbs ?

Prob not a problem but more dependent on does your boat have the power to pull 300 lbs out of the water.

Are the fins removable?

They are removable but I don’t know if you can find a different fin setup.
