Its positively gorgeous!
This is so elegant and I can’t wait to gift it to my sister-in-law. Its rather heavy, but I am sure that its weight will help insulate food as it cooks, and produce a delicious meal. Most noteworthy to me was the AMAZING speed this was delivered to me, without paying anything extra for shipping. It was delivered to me in one day!!! Gorgeous and high Quality. A Staple in my Le Crueset Collection
I love this dish. I have used it for everything from roasting a 5 lb chicken to baking brownies and casseroles. It’s so high quality and looks elegant on my counter top. I have a lot of the other kitchen items to match in the same color, and this is a staple of my Le Crueset collection. Everything I make comes out beautifully golden brown and heated through to perfection.

One Feature I'd Never Thought About
I've been using my mother's Corningware casserole dishes for 25 years. By the way, the glass lids on the larger baking dishes never fit snugly, and would slip off at the slightest tilt. The old Corningware was also not microwaveable - got too hot while the food didn't. Since I retired last year, I've become passionate about cooking. Cooking is very enjoyable when you have the time to take your time! This Le Creuset Stoneware dish is beautiful to look at, and far more functional than my old casseroles. But the feature I never expected was the un-enameled bottom of the dish. I have literally had heavy, full casserole dishes slide out of my one-armed grasp while opening the refrigerator door. This dish is rough on the bottom, so VERY easy to hold. I would give it five stars, but it was made in China. I try to buy American or European products to support worker's rights over sweat shops. I thought I was buying French-made, but sadly not.
