This device along with the great free app you have access too, is the surest way to me to tell if your silver is real or fake. I tested about 300oz of junk silver using this and had no issues. Worked great, and feel very good about my stack being legit. A negative i did have is using and testing Mercury and Roosevelt 90% Dimes. Although i was able to mostly tell if my coins i had were real or not. It took several pings to register and some coins failing for no reason (not fake-confirmed) It looks like this is still in a beta stage on the app, but i hope they urgently fix this and get it working for Dimes 100%.

This product works amazingly well. And for the price it is a true bargain. Just be sure you really use it properly. In order to do so you will need a good scale and a caliper so that you can be precise in the information you feed into the iPhone ap that goes with it. If you weigh and measure carefully it works every time. Very pleased.

Easy to use and the app allows you to test a wide variety of coins and years that I actually confirmed with my collection. I tested a coin that had two different reverse designs for 2021 and accidently picked the wrong one in the app. The app flagged it for the inconsistent readings. I realized my mistake, made the correct selection and it passed.

Heard about this from Yankee Stacking. It's a simple device with an idiot-proof but comprehensive app with a wide selection of testable coins. Initially many coins were locked to me on the app but they became available when I entered a code that was included with my purchase. All my coins were validated, which I expected, but I wish I had a counterfeit coin to test and be that much more confident in the process. Between the pinger, the app's size charts, and a weight scale, I feel confident enough in my coins that I don't need to buy a more expensive analyzer. Finally, I will give you 5 stars when you include a wider/more comfortable grip. Some of us have thousands of coins to test in our stacks and hundreds more coming. I was getting thumb and forefinger fatigue on the small, hard handles of the pinger.

Can’t say enough good things about stacker tools. The equipment and application gives me total peace of mind, it works flawlessly every time. The app is fantastic and their customer service is top notch, they even respond on the weekends. Most importantly it helps me verify real silver and gold coins when I’m buying, no more worries about fakes. I highly recommend!!!!

EDIT: I was finally able to make it work. I tried it on two other devices (another phone and a tablet) and it works on the second phone after I removed the phone case. Microphone quality and clearance obviously were the issue, so you might need to remove your phone case to make this work for you. Once I found the proper setup, it worked really well. I would have only bumped my rating to 4 stars, but before I even got around to editing this review I received a full refund offer from the seller, no questions asked. That level of service deserves the full 5 start rating. I bought this based on many positive reviews and YouTube videos demonstrating its successful use, despite the high price for what it is. I excused that since it includes the app. However, I have yet to have it work for me. All the videos I see are of it being used with specific coinage, usually an ASE or Morgan dollar, so maybe it does work for those. However, I wanted it for generic silver rounds, which it supposedly works with also. Except it doesn't. I tried it on rounds from 4 different mints purchased from 3 different reputable sources (an LCS that's been in business with a great reputation for over 50 years, and two of the well-known online bullion dealers), as well as on both the "pro" and "ping" settings, and they all gave the same result - only 1-3 matching peaks out of 5 (the number varies by test, not by round, meaning it doesn't give consistent results from test to test), and no duration data. Unless you're willing to believe that every round in my stack, from every mint and every seller, is fake, then this isn't working.

I had been trying to find a way to get one of these, in Canada. The manufacturer ships them free to any US address but then wants US$ 20 to ship this item to Canada. When I found it on Amazon.ca and it qualified for free shipping, I placed the order. This is well built and functions just like advertised. Amazon was the cheapest way to get this device into my hands although I see I must have bought the only one they had as this is now marked as out of stock with no refill date. I guess I got lucky!

Very good tool for precious metals

Exactly as advertised. Pinger works well, the app is included although not as extensive as some others it checks the coins I need it for. In time the app will grow and a lot more coins will be availible.
