Great for tailbone pain
When I got this I first didn't know what direction I was supposed to use it, but looking at the pictures online makes it very obvious. The part with the handle and no foam goes under the tailbone. This is wonderful! Before medications, I had excruciating tailbone pain when sitting for more than 10 minutes. This cushion allowed, and still allows, me to sit for more than 10 minutes. I have multiples of this cushion, one for my car and one to move around to where I need it. This brand is so good that my mom bought a larger size when she needed a high cushion after surgery.

Cyen Cushion
Cyen cushion has been very helpful for sitting in a dialysis chair 4 hours. It is contoured and helps take pressure off the tailbone.

Similar to everything out there. Overall comfortable but would prefer small changes
It is mostly comfortable and doesn't get hot. The issues I mention below look to be the same for all the similar products I found, so it is hard to knock a star off since this does seem to be great quality and comfortable, especially at the price I purchased. Therefore, I would actually recommend this if this is the shape and size you are looking for. However,I would like a thinner version that is more portable to take on a plane. A vacuum bag helped, but not enough to get it into back pack. I would also to prefer less "Shape" to the front as we don't all point our legs forward all the time and the center lump is not the best for men. The other issue is that the tailbone slot should be a little wider to allow for shifting. I'd be happiest if there was a design out there that was flatter and half as thick without the lumps and wider tailbone area. Unfortunately, they all seem to be desiged this same way.

Good for flat-seated chairs, but not so much when used in conjunction with automobile driving seats...
Changing my evaluation after using it for a couple of months. Initially, after a short break-in period, I was liking it, but that feeling has waned over a longer period of time, Ive lowered my rating to 3 stars. It's OK, BUT...! It's been some time since I purchased this cushion now and I find that it does NOT work well for my intended purpose - a driving cushion. It's NOT that it does NOT cushion well - indeed it does - but it cushions TOO WELL when used as a driving cushion.Automobile seats tend to tilt back at a slight angle, thereby elevating the front of the the auto's seat. This often makes the front of the car seat somewhat higher - in it's front - higher, actually than at the back of the seat, which is not, therefore, level with the front of the auto seat. Some auto seating even has a build-up of more under-the-thigh cushioning built into the front of their seats, (i.e., to support one thighs), making the front on their seats even more higher than their back. This CYLEN cushion is NOT beveled, (i.e., angled), to be lower in the FRONT of it than in it's BACK. Therefore, I have found the FRONT of this cushion then becomes TOO HIGH under one's thighs when driving, as it then puts undo pressure up onto one's thighs, (i.e., when thighs/legs are straight ahead). This is a condition that does NOT exist when one's feet/shoes are not flat with the auto's floor pan. But when driving - with one's leg(s) stretched forward, then this condition becomes very uncomfortable under one's thighs. I had to stop using it in my vehicle for that reason. (i.e., I bought it for a tailbone problem). I now use it only on/with a flat-seated, wooden office computer chair. There it works fine because the front of this chair seat is NOT higher than its back, thus it puts NO undue pressure pushing up from under one's thigh(s).

Still strong after 5 years!
I bought this Cylen seat cushion along with a lumbar cushion from another maker back in April of 2017 in preparation for a drive from Dallas to San Diego and back in a work truck with basic work-truck suspension. (In other words, not a comfort-for-distance vehicle!) The combo saved my legs and back while I powered through the 24 hour drive west, rambled all over for 10 days, and then powered back east. Then I went through the whole rigmarole again in the autumn of that year.Since then, this cushion has lived on my home office chair AND served every time we took a drive anywhere longer than a couple of hours, even in my husband's Charger or my Sonata. (Dallas to Cincinnati; Dallas to Orlando; etc.) It's still holding up great, and was recently shifted upstairs to my sewing/craft workstation. It's a little firmer when the weather's cold, (as most memory foam tends to be,) but quickly gets comfy-firm after a few minutes, and doesn't just squash flat like a lot of memory foam cushions/pillows/insoles/insert generic memory foam product here.My one wish is that they'd make it in a 21" width x 16" depth. I recently inherited a Secret Lab gaming chair that is brilliant, but very thin on seat padding, and my Cylen doesn't fit it comfortably at all. So we splurged on the "big name brand" in "Big Cushions" for a new seat pillow... And if it had the oomph of my little Cylen I might be in heaven, but it's too squishy. *sigh* It fits the seat of the chair well, though, so it'll do until Cylen comes out with an Extra Large version. On that day, someone else will inherit the CL cushion!
