Simple and effective. Does exactly what you need it to. Easy cleaning in the dishwasher. Perfect seal. Lid doesn't go anywhere. Nice tablespoon measurements on the inside.

Yet another well-designed and well-manufactured OXO product. They're worth paying extra for. Light weight, seemingly unbreakable and with protective cover for our precious butter.

This is fine for functionality. Cleans up nicely in dishwasher. OXO is generally a good product line all around.

I am happy with this product. I did not want something that would break or chip if dropped. This fits the bill.

This butter dish is an incredible value for how well it’s designed. Because of how the bottom tray is built, it rests comfortably even over uneven fridge surfaces — especially those “built-in” rests that are meant to keep items from sliding around. It feels like it locks into place without wobbling, which makes it much more stable than standard dishes. The clear lid clicks on smoothly, and I actually like that the butter is now fully visible. It’s easy to tell at a glance how much is left, and the built-in TSP and TBSP markings on the tray make it practical for cooking. The proportions are sharp and minimal, giving it a clean presence on the counter or in the fridge. Great simple butter dish. We appreciate that it has measurements on it so it's easier to get the right amount of butter. Easily fits one stick.

I like this dish because the lid fits into a groove that runs around the bottom making it more secure. The plastic is very clear not hazy and it cleans in the dishwasher.

I’ve owned a glass dish with a beveled cover. It was always a mess. Then I owned a silicone butter dish that was so bendable, it took me longer to get the cover back on than it took to butter my toast. What’s more: I had to cut off the finger holds on each end so it would fit in my fridge door. This butter dish resolves all those shortcomings. Plus it has a non slip bottom on the butter the dish itself, and on the bottom of the butter well, as well. The cover is rectangular with straight sides, so even smeared with butter, it doesn’t slip out of my hands. It even has tablespoon and teaspoon markings in the butter well. It’s the little details that make the difference. I almost want to buy them as Christmas presents.
