No. One cylinder has a larger diameter than the other. The special tips handle the mixing. You do need a special gun. I spent $90 on the 3M one, but I am told there are several others available.

Q: I'm doing a 1978 g 10 chevy short wheel base van drip rails ... how many will i need ?

I used about one and a half on a 1966 Mustang drip rails. The Mustang drip rails are a combined 120 linear inches.

Q: Can this be applied over existing new 3m sealer? Had to put in an emergency bead to brave the rain and hoping this can go over and smooth it out.

I had to do just that and it worked fine. No problems at all
